Best car buying experience When I arrived at Medved Chevrolet to test drive a Bolt, a couple of "typical" car salespeople approached the car. When I said I had an appointment w When I arrived at Medved Chevrolet to test drive a Bolt, a couple of "typical" car salespeople approached the car. When I said I had an appointment with someone, the gent quickly switched off sales mode and turned on help-the-customer-mode, and walked me into the dealership, and stayed there until the guy with whom I had the appointment showed up. He could EASILY have just pointed to the front door of the showroom, but he didn't. He took the time to ensure that I connected with his colleague. That was my first clue that this was a different kind of car dealership. I was there to meet MIke Molliconi, who from the moment I met him clearly had one goal for the visit - teach me as much as he possibly could about the Chevy Bolt. It was like being in a classroom. He never mentioned actually buying the car, even after the test drive. Mike is a fantastic sales consultant, and he has "consultant" in his job title - he lives up to it well. He is more consultant than sales, and he lets people BUY - he does not sell. Mike's MO is to educate, to give the client (not customer, but client) as much usable information as possible so that s/he can make an informed choice. He was not interested in making the sale THAT DAY. Lastly, he clearly enjoys what he does, and that has a really excellent effect on his clients. If you are in the market for an electric vehicle... 1. Give serious consideration to the Bolt. As an electric vehicle veteran, I was blown away by ever aspect of it. This is NOT my father's Chevy, to steal from an 1980s Oldsmobile ad. 2. Go to Medved Chevrolet. 3. Seek out Mike Molliconi. You will be extremely glad you did all 3.
