We were greeted by Danny who was very pleasant, knowledgeabe and patient letting us drive several different models since we weren't sure what Honda we might want...or if we were going to buy a Hond knowledgeabe and patient letting us drive several different models since we weren't sure what Honda we might want...or if we were going to buy a Honda. He also knew an astounding amount about the Mini Clubman S we were considering trading in toward this purchase. We were seriously looking at several other dealerships not at all conviced we would be purchasing a Honda. We took up a great deal of time, switched drivers, but he was very accomidating, knowledgeable and likeable making us feel welcome, at ease, and not that obnoxious sales pressuring which turns us off. Both he and Adam were quite persistant encouraging me to get the Touring off the floor for a real feel for the car.......I hated having them do all that....but it was significant as it is a real cut above the basic...and now that car is ours. (Good move guys.) Danny was patient going through the MANY Tech features afte the sale..though it will honestly take me quite some time to remember and figure everything out again...very long tiring day. The next day Danny followed up the sale with a phone call saying when I come in for the customer gift to call ahead so he would be sure to be there to answer any additonal questions since taking it home....when I am less tired and frazzled. This is our 4th Honda...our 3rd accord. They have been wonderfully reliable cars....I will indeed miss the fun of my very sassy Mini Clubman S I cannot lie...but I am enjoying the very comfortable roomy ride of the Honda, all the bells and whistles (especialy the cameras), better NAV, yes the voice commands, and nicer car stereo. We are looking forward to taking this new baby on the road for a summer vacation. :-) They did a great job and we would recommend both of them..and the dealership to our friends. We researched on the internet the vehicles we were considering buying. We visited several lots before we came to Breakaway. Right away we saw Mike Hartle on the lot. He came over and greeted us and considering buying. We visited several lots before we came to Breakaway. Right away we saw Mike Hartle on the lot. He came over and greeted us and asked what we were looking for. This was not the case for other lots where we had to hunt for someone to answer our questions. He showed us 5 Honda Odysseys right away of different colors and mileage, more than any other place. The price on each was at or below what we had found was the resale for that model. He showed us the carfax on the one we were most interesed in and the price given us for our trade-in was within $600 of what we had hoped for. While we waited for our loan to be processed, MIke took the tags off of our old van and had the new one vacuumed and ready for us to drive home. We were very pleased with the whole process. The only down side was having to wait some for a loan processor since several were out that day. We have already recomended your dealership to everyone to whom we have shown our van. I had been looking for a newer car for several months when I visited Breakaway Honda because I saw a 2012 Honda Civic with low miles and priced below my budget. I went in to do a test drive and liked it. when I visited Breakaway Honda because I saw a 2012 Honda Civic with low miles and priced below my budget. I went in to do a test drive and liked it. I worked with Mark Smith during that time and he was very knowledgeable about the car and it's features and did not make me feel pressured, although he did talk a lot. That same day I applied for a credit application but by that time the dealership was closing so I had to come back the next day. That next afternoon I worked with Mike Hartle. He allowed me to take the car to an outside service shop to get it inspected (this was something I wanted to do even though it was Honda Certified it being my first car and all). I had been to other dealerships that did not allow me to even take the car to get inspected but I am very grateful Breakaway Honda obliged. The next day I came into the dealership and found out I was approved for financing. I was able to trade in my 93 Geo Prizm for a decent price considering it was old and had a lot of miles on it. In all, they made me a good deal with trading in my car and I got a lower interest rate being financed with Honda vs. with my credit union. I have only had the car since last Thursday evening and have since driven it from SC to MI for Spring Break. It got great gas mileage about 38mpg on my trip and I only filled up once. Mark Becker was quick to respond to every inquiry. He gave us a price, it was competitive, and since he was the first person to respond to my inquiries we decided to go with Breakaway. I would've marked all of the questions "5 - Great" except for the fact that we had to wait 45 minutes after we arrived to get our paperwork through financing. In conclusion, the vehicle was delivered clean and as we expected, Mark was attentive spending all the time we needed to learn our new Odyssey, it was a shame that a "Great" buying experience deteriorated to a "Good-" experience.
