The most easiest process I ever went through in buying a car. No hassle in buying anything and got everything exactly how I ask for and kept promise on quoted price of car but got an even cheaper than origi car. Researching our next purchase of Kia auto, I found Kia of Greenville, SC dealership to be very deceptive in their on-line advertised pricing for vehicles. The Market Adjustment, which has been around during Greenville, SC dealership to be very deceptive in their on-line advertised pricing for vehicles. The Market Adjustment, which has been around during pandemic and soon the be lifted with supply, is not visible or included on their internet advertising as other dealers have openly shared. Unfortunately, Kia of Greenville is one of the few dealerships that has NOT been responsible with customer transparency on their pricing. This dealer advertises Internet pricing at MSRP and does not include market adjustment anywhere on vehicle description or pricing. After significant time spent researching vehicles, they shared via text they are adding 15% on top of MSRP for market adjustment. This is deceptive marketing practice that lacks transparency and something that should be brought to consumer affairs. We all understand the supply/demand of autos and thankfully that is changing with inventories beginning to grow. I hope this dealership changes their position and includes total pricing for clarity to consumers that are shopping for vehicles on-line instead of their current competitive practices of hiding pricing of their vehicles which only hurts the consumer in the end. I will share this complaint with the BBB so they have record and can address accordingly. Other Kia Dealers have included Market Adjustment visibly on top of the MSRP pricing which is transparent to consumer so they know exactly what they are asking for the vehicle before spending hours researching your next purchase. The General Manager, Dennis Henry, contacted me just before sending this review and made an excuse that the autos sitting on his lot in Greenville show the market adjustment next to window stickers. The problem is with anyone researching on-line advertising where they have intentionally omitted this from normal view and hide it from the customer. This again, is very deceptive and should not be tolerated by customers. I will not be giving them our business, especially since hearing it is the approved direction from GM on their advertising practice. More
