July 28, 2011 Siatuu Quaterman 501 Meinhard Rd. Savannah, GA 31407 Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade VIN: 1GYFK63877R355272 To Whom It May Concern: This letter in reference to the vehicle described above. You purchased the above vehicle from Fred’s Select Auto on June 30th and we delivered the car to you on July 13th. Upon taking delivery of the car, our sales department directly telephoned you on that same day to confirm your receipt of the vehicle and to confirm that it was in conformity with your requests. You directly confirmed to our department that you did receive the car and that it conformed to your requests in every manner and that you were happy with the vehicle. As far as the issue with the warranty on the car, we specifically advised you that if you provide us with a little more time we would be able to refund the warranty in the full amount back to the bank. However, you insisted that you could not give us that much time and that you would rather we send the warranty refund directly to you in whatever amount we can refund at the time, even if it is not in the full amount. As far as all of this is concerned, we have been communicating with you through email and other means for at least 2-4 weeks now. In these 2-4 weeks, not once did you complain about the vehicle or the warranty. During the 2-4 weeks, you communicated with several people in our company including your salesman, our manager, and our delivery supervisor. Not once did you complain to any of them in any manner about your vehicle. Please don’t assume that in conducting this transaction with you we made a huge profit out of it. In fact, the vehicle purchase slip will evidence that we did not sell the car to you for much more than we purchased it for. The difference in the re-sell price is just barely enough to cover our expenses. Despite all of this, we are still prepared to give you one offer for the sake of being an honest and good business. We will return your money back to your bank only on the condition that you return our vehicle in the same condition it was delivered in and if you reimburse us for the expenses we have incurred in the process. We do this because we are honest and fair to our customers and in return we expect the same honesty and fairness from our customers, especially from our customers who are soldiers.
