The service department has always been great at this dealership. Since moving to Freeport eight years ago we have bought three Ford vehicles and have always used the service department. Typical car dealership! they tell you how they are the small town dealership with customer service after the sale etc.. Then you buy a car which breaks down a week later and then you see the true side! No small town dealership with customer service after the sale etc.. My experience with Fairway Ford was excellent! I had lots of questions and needed lots of clarification - all of which I received. I was never made to feel unintelligent because of my lack of knowledge lots of questions and needed lots of clarification - all of which I received. I was never made to feel unintelligent because of my lack of knowledge. All of my needs were met and all my expectations were exceeded. As a woman, I was treated fairly and respectfully. I would highly recommend my sales person, Mark Tanner. He was friendly, responsive, he listened and made certain he understood what I was looking for! Ryan called me looking for a used Fusion. I wasn't thinking of trading as I had a 2011 Fusion which I truly loved.(had it for 2 years). But wife is retiring and thought a new 2012 would be a great way thinking of trading as I had a 2011 Fusion which I truly loved.(had it for 2 years). But wife is retiring and thought a new 2012 would be a great way to start -can finally keep the miles low - (as her drive to Durand to Rockford everyday would be cut out!). We were happy that they came back to the price that we were givin the first time we were there. We are not people that make quick decisions. It took 5 days, l tank of gas, stopped at 13 dealerships, dro were givin the first time we were there. We are not people that make quick decisions. It took 5 days, l tank of gas, stopped at 13 dealerships, drove 3 trucks and talked with 4 different salesmen to realize we found what we wanted at our first stop. We are very happy with our truck. It rides so nice (even better than our 2009 Edge that we really like). We were especially happy that a 120 day or 4000 miles warranty was included as we noticed the power steering gear box was leaking fluid about 1 week after we bought the truck. I will never ever go back to Fairway Ford. They will say anything to get you to buy a vehicle. Mark Story will promise to get you a unicorn if you asked him to get you to agree to buy a vehicle. He lied to my face and is as dishonest as most salesmen are said to be. I do have to say that the owner was decent to work with as he did return my phone calls as did John Gobeli. I have never been so dissatisfied with a sales person as I am with Mark. He promised me brand new black leather seat covers for my car and sent me ones from Wal-Mart and gray and then ones that were used and torn and said they were new. My vehicle has a black interior. Why would I want gray? He promised to refinance my vehicle through Ford Credit. Come to find out Ford Credit does not refinance. He told me these things so I would agree to purchase a car that was not what I wanted so he could stop trying to locate the exact car I wanted. Please remember these things when you think about going to Fairway Ford. More
