Our salesperson name was Frenchy and he was wonderful ,very friendly and knoweledgable. We were buying a new car and decided on a 2016 Ford Explorer. Frenchy took the time and explained everything to us and took us on a test drive and we were in love. We ended up buying the suv and we are so happy. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new or used car to visit Fairway Ford Lincoln and to ask for Frenchy. CAVEAT EMPTOR: Let the buyer beware. Bottom line: I'm out almost $18,000, have no title, and a vehicle that has been deemed not "road safe." During my dealing with Fairway Ford,they've a Bottom line: I'm out almost $18,000, have no title, and a vehicle that has been deemed not "road safe." During my dealing with Fairway Ford,they've acted unprofessionally. unethically, dishonestly, and in bad faith. There are too many problems with the transaction and the vehicle to list here, but let it be known that even though I paid them in cash on November 5, 2015, I still do not have title to the vehicle. I've already filed a complaint with the State of Illinois Attorney General and will post updates as I receive them. If you would like to know specifics, please let me know. I will happily share my experience if it helps someone else avoid making the same mistake I made. If any attorneys read this and care to help, please contact me. More

Deal Gone Bad At first I thought that I had had a wonderful experience at Fairway Ford. Unfortunately, that quickly changed. I was given a title that my state's D At first I thought that I had had a wonderful experience at Fairway Ford. Unfortunately, that quickly changed. I was given a title that my state's DMV would not accept because it had been altered. I called to have this taken care of and am still waiting for a replacement title. My extension on my transfer will expire tomorrow and still no valid title in-hand. It doesn't seem fair that I will have to be paying fines for a mistake I did not make! I told my salesperson that I wanted to stay under a 60 month term on my loan. After getting home, I realized that the finance manager stretched it over a year longer in order to sign me up for extra vehicle insurance (extra cost of course) and keep me at a price I could afford. Sneaky. I am also still waiting on a second key I was promised weeks ago. My vehicle did not come with any floor mats & when brought to the dealship's attention before I left, none were offered. Highly disappointed in this shady business!!! More
