Hello Mr. Venkata, I am aware of this complaint and I am also aware of the bad survey that you sent in to Chevrolet. I apologize for the way you feel and I truly regret that a deal was made where you are this unhappy. Unfortunately, you bought this vehicle under GM Preferred pricing which is for employees and family members of employees. You bought the vehicle at a reduced price, with a reduced doc fee and you got extra rebates that the general public does qualify for. It is one of our benefits for being an employee. Chevrolet sets the price and program for the employee purchases. We cannot alter or change the selling price or offer extra incentives. Chevrolet offers you the Onstar for 6 months. After that you will have to pay the $30.00 per month if you want to keep it, just like every other customer. Freeway Chevrolet has nothing to do with this. If it was up to us I would give it to everyone for free, but it is not up to us. My people told me how long you were at the dealership while you were negotiating. You were very reluctant to buy the vehicle at the employee price. They also told me that they went over the vehicle with you twice the day you purchased and again a week later when you came back. I understand that you are not happy with the ONSTAR and that your desired resolution would be for us to install factory navigation at no cost to you and that would make you happy. This will never happen. First of all, I cannot change the pricing structure or offer incentives other than the incentives offered by Chevrolet for employees as I mentioned above. Secondly, you did not pay for factory navigation. You drove the vehicle the day you were here. You were provided with the window sticker that listed all the options and we went over the options and features three different times. I understand that you are not happy and I realize I cannot change that, which is unfortunate. The vehicle you purchased is actually one of our better selling vehicles. Hopefully you will enjoy the vehicle with or without the Onstar turn by turn navigation. Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention, Michael Cook General Manager

We certainly apologize for your experience. We try very hard to make every deal, but sometimes it does not work out. Dennis is one of our long term managers and he usually does a great job. We have had a lot of positive feedback and not very much negative feedback on his performance. It appears that in this instance there was certainly a personality conflict. We price our vehicles aggressively and in comparison to the other dealers, but obviously you did not see the value in our vehicle and we obviously did not see the value in your vehicle that you did. This does happen at times. Obviously this does not matter as you have found a vehicle that works for you. I did get your response on Yelp and I did find where you were trying to trade in a Nissan Juke and you were looking at a Chevy Cruze and you were dealing with Steven and Dennis. I have spoken with Dennis about this and we will utilize this as a learning and training experience for him. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Hello, My name is Michael Cook and I am the General Manager here at Freeway. I apologize for the experience and for your frustration. That was certainly not our goal. I did review the file and the salesperson and his manager did get with me after you had already left the dealership to try to make the deal with you. I told them that they were trying TOO HARD to earn your business and it was NOT possible to make a deal under these parameters. I know they were trying to get a firm commitment from you to make the deal happen, but it was not possible to do what you wanted to do. My vehicle will sell for $34,988, and I am not interested in putting more than $3000 in your vehicle. With 0 down, that would have you financing $36,160. I doubt that I could get you 9% with 0 down with your credit history but if I was able to-- the absolute best payment would have been $654.00... I personally would have planned on you being in the 11-12% range and this would have been a higher payment obviously. What we should have done is let you go immediately with out trying to earn your business, as you were very set on where you needed to be and we did not have a truck that would work for you. As you stated in your complaint to be where you need to be as far as payment is concerned, you will need to purchase a truck that will sell for around $25,000. I am sorry that we did not have such a vehicle at the time. There is a lot of confusion on this deal and frustration, and I certainly apologize. We try to make every deal happen, but we can't make every one obviously. Good luck with your vehicle search.
