I purchased a new vehicle just before the New Year, and was promised accessories that were not immediately available. My sales person assured me that they would arrive within 2 weeks, and would have the se was promised accessories that were not immediately available. My sales person assured me that they would arrive within 2 weeks, and would have the service department conact me when they arrive. Fast-forward 2.5 weeks, two texts to the salesman and no update, I called the dealership, and was informed that the order was never relayed to the parts department. I was pretty disappointed, but the service/ parts associate, Devote stepped up and made it right. With speed and efficiency, he had those parts ready, and I had an appointment for installation that weekend, with the help of Lex! People like Devote are the ones who make the difference. I'll be coming back to purchase my wife's car at Fremont Mazda, and when I do, I hope my sales rep is Devote! More

I specifically told them over the phone the specific conditions I have to purchase a car, and they said not to worry and that they have the best prices in the Bay Area, and that they'll take care of me. They told me to come in when they didn't even have the car in stock and then tried to upsell me on another car - I ended up walking out without a car. To the dealership: "Guys, don't b.s. the customer - just be honest and upfront from the beginning." More
Brought my 2019 Mazda MX-5 in for the fuel pump recall. My car is modified with a hard dog roll bar. They lost two trim clips and broke the head off of the tiny bolt that locates the upper seatbelt rol My car is modified with a hard dog roll bar. They lost two trim clips and broke the head off of the tiny bolt that locates the upper seatbelt roll for the passenger seat belt. They did not extract the bolt! It is not an important bolt, but that still is not acceptable. I have tan seats. The seats were very dirty when they were done with the car. Why not use car seat covers? Still I was able to clean all of it out. The soft top's wire for the rear window defroster had come unseated from where it enters to the soft top. Not that big of deal, but noticeable and I had to glue it back myself. The trim pieces were rattling when I got the car back. Yeah, my car is modified, but they weren't doing that when I gave it to them. At least the roll bar's bolts were properly secured. You bet I went over every inch of the car after they had it. These are minor things and my car is modified, but broken bolts, missing trim clips, and dirty seats are not acceptable. At least they drove me home after I dropped off the car. More

He was very informative about options and the loan options. I went looking at other dealerships, then came back and he still was prompt in helping me and let me look at the car again. After I agreed to the purchase, I went to the parts department to buy the weather proof matts and asked the guy to have the people who were detailing the car to install them. He rudely refused, not just politely declined. When I returned to the closing agent, he noticed I was upset. When I expressed what had occurred, he ensured the employee was reprimanded and the matts were installed. It isn't like it is that much work anyway! I have not seen that employee there since. At least the sales staff is courteous, prompt, and responsive! I knew what I was getting into with buying from Mazda since this was my second car. I wasn't talked into anything or pressured. We negotiated out the door price, which was MSRP + the service package and gap insurance. At the time of purchase, which was right after the pandemic during the chip shortage, this was an acceptable price. A few weeks after the CX-5 sale, one of the tow point covers went missing. After contacting the salesman that helped us, this dealership replaced it without question free of charge, which is very nice of them. More
They scam their customers. Purchased a used vehicle and have had temporary plates for 90 days. DMV says they are still waiting on paperwork from the dealership. Freemont Maz Purchased a used vehicle and have had temporary plates for 90 days. DMV says they are still waiting on paperwork from the dealership. Freemont Mazda refuses to take any calls. Finance never returns calls and General Manager will not accept calls. I have been making payments on this vehicle for 3 months not to mention a down payment and do not have possession of the vehicle. More
Would give a negative 10 rating if possible. Be careful in dealing with this dealership and Tom regarding leases. Do not explain lease buyout fees of $1500 added to your vehicle residual value Be careful in dealing with this dealership and Tom regarding leases. Do not explain lease buyout fees of $1500 added to your vehicle residual value before coming into the dealership. These fees are not noted on the lease contract. Nor, did Tom inform my daughter of other options to save $1500 by not utilizing the dealership services for a lease buyout. Total disappointed with this dealership. I hope the $1500 that they obtained from my daughter was worth it. Young people with first time lease arrangements do not know the options to obtain financing outside of the dealership nor obtaining smog services for $70 and completing your DMV services yourself. Total rip-off. Would have appreciated a professional courtesy of explaining the options. More
I am sitting here at Fremont Mazda Dealership fuming. When I test drove the CX-5, I was told all the smudges and slight scratches that I pointed out would be taken care of in the detailing. After comp When I test drove the CX-5, I was told all the smudges and slight scratches that I pointed out would be taken care of in the detailing. After completing the payment and during handing off the key, I found the smudges on the door handles and the transparent window of the gear box has blemishes on it which did not go away even after chemical treatment. The body has two scratch marks that did not go away after waxing. The salesman (Aziz Moussaui) is trying to convince me it is like this for all cars. But all new cars have a thin plastic covering these items and we confirmed that after walking in the lot. They have taken the SUV in the back for the second time. The second round of cleaning is a little better but now the nice piano finish surfaces around the door handles and gear box have deep long scratches on them. And while buffing out one of the scratch, looks like they took the clearcoat off. So much for a new car finish. I have been promised they will buff out the scratches when I bring the car in again next week. Will update this review then. More
They over charged for doing a diagnosis and did NOT offer any insights. They are over expensive, does un-necessary things and over charge. Better to avoid this center. any insights. They are over expensive, does un-necessary things and over charge. Better to avoid this center. More

Becau DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP I inquired about a used vehicle they had. The salesman I was working with was helpful, or so I thought. Because of COVID-19 and having a 5 year old, I made it clear that I wanted financing and all paperwork set so I would not have any problems once at dealership. The day I was supposed to go there, the sales man said to hold off until he got bank approval. A few hours later, he said come on down your all set. I was at the dealership 3 hours just sitting... eventually I paid my down-payment, signed paperwork and left with new (used car). 3 days passed and the dealership is calling saying finance fell through. I didn't understand considering I had already signed paperwork. Apparently, they pulled a "spot delivery" which is legal, however bad sales tactics in my opinion. They wanted me to sign a new contract, double the monthly amount. They sent a salesman to my home so I would sign. They did not give me a copy of new contract. I called over and over as well as sent emails. 6months went by before they emailed me the new contract. They put my signature on an extended warranty with someone else's info!! Not even for my car. When I said something about it, the finance manager said it could not be refunded and that he would fix the wrong info error. So he sent me a new document with my car info, including my signature. I DID NOT SIGN THIS DOCUMENT. It is illegal to alter a contract without permission of all parties. I told the finance manager what he did was illegal. And that I never agreed to this added on mechanic service. He replied with I will have a manager call you. That never happened. And all emails, calls have gone unanswered. I expect to be refunded for the full amount charged for the mechanic add on. More
