NOT military friendly I'm not one to normally complain but if I could have found anyway to get out of the deal we made with Fuccilo Imports, I would have. We love our Subar I'm not one to normally complain but if I could have found anyway to get out of the deal we made with Fuccilo Imports, I would have. We love our Subaru, the car itself has so far been great; however, with that being said I've never been so disgusted with salesmen in my entire life. We bought our car and settled all of our paperwork over the course of 2 days, assuming everything was taken care of unfortunately, about a week and a half or more later we get a call stating they needed more paperwork (proof of residency) for myself it was easy because everything was in my name; however, for my husband who had just recently (within the last month or so) gotten home from a 9 month long deployment it was a little difficult. After about a week of back and forth with the salesman we bought our car through (Claude Loomis) he stopped corresonding with us so we assumed that was the end. This however, was not the case, about a week later another salesman(Matt Gormley), whom we've never met before, calls us and from the begining of our conversation has an attitude about him. He again is asking for the proof of residency which we have given to them already (though he claims nothing we sent worked). At this point I'm frustrated. In just a day after this guy calls we are supposed to leave on our first vacation and a celebration of my husbands return from Iraq and this guy states " well it looks like you'll be dealing with this while you're on vacation then," and other snooty remarks. I do not take lightly to someone talking to me like I'm inferior so I yell at the guy while my husbands on the phone. Yes, I did blow up in anger and not respond in the most adult way however, the way the saleman,Matt Gormley, responds is what thoroughly disgust me. He says "well if you're going to act that way I'll make a call to your commanding officer." My husband then appologizes and tells him it was me (his wife) who said that and the salesman then goes on to say it doesnt matter because I'm his responsibility. Now, I see two things wrong with this: 1. Any other proffession would NEVER be threatened with calling their boss because of something he didnt like that was said. So tell me why we're punishing someone who's in the military and 2. Since when is my husband automatically responsible for what I say and do?! All and all if you're military, steer clear of here especailly from Matt Gormley. This is NOT a military friendly dealer (which is sad since Fort Drum has to make up a good part of their business). More
