I would highly recommend future Chevrolet performance when I showed up on Tuesday morning, I was not on the schedule. I explained that Steve over at Future Ford was supposed to call the young lady to set when I showed up on Tuesday morning, I was not on the schedule. Future Chevrolet of Sacramento lives up to the online stories of the average dealership experience. On the morning of May 31st, 2026, I arrived to Future Chevrolet to buy a 2027 Chevrolet Bolt around stories of the average dealership experience. On the morning of May 31st, 2026, I arrived to Future Chevrolet to buy a 2027 Chevrolet Bolt around 10:30. I met Pamela, who showed me the car, and I got a test drive. Pamela did a solid job showing me the features, the interior, and the exterior of the car. Professional. Great customer service. The day before on the phone, I agreed to buy a Bolt LT for $29k OTD from Will, who originally showed me the car on Friday. I forgot to get this offer in writing, so when I showed up on Sunday, the price changed to $29.6k+ OTD with dealer add-ons (Cilajet, etch). Not cool. I spent over one hour negotiating to get to the original agreed price, where Will had to go back and forth to his superior, and $29.2k OTD was the lowest that he could sell the car for. I agreed to $29.2k. Why waste time with a false OTD price to get customers through the door? (Because this is their M.O.). Will did what he could, so it's not really his fault. His superior (Bailey), who controls the OTD price should be negotiating with the customer instead of sending out someone, who needs repeated okays from their superior. I spent another two and a half hours doing paperwork with the finance manager, Tony, who was friendly. Signing the paperwork was straightforward although he was stuck waiting for documents and verification from his coworkers. Tony was helpful through the process. Unfortunately, two other customers got held up while I was working through the paperwork with Tony. I left around 14:00. Overall, this car purchase experience could have gone better/faster, but monopoly got to monopoly. Hopefully, General Motors Company corporate is knowledgeable about their customers' experience, so future customers can get a better experience than me. Thank you. More
