I called again for an update and was told by the agent that they were "awaiting a response from the East Coast office." Since it was 4:00 PM PST (7:00 PM EST), he claimed we wouldn't hear anything until tomorrow because that office was closed. Then, the "miracle" happened: I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Within minutes of receiving an email confirming the BBB had forwarded my complaint to the dealership, my phone rang. It was Kia, suddenly claiming the East Coast office had just called them back—well after business hours—with a negative decision on the repair. This is insulting to a customer’s intelligence, and shows lack of honesty and accountability. buy from this dealer at your own risk
