I came to Galpin Ford to purchase a new vehicle. This was my sixth or seventh vehicle I have purchased from Galpin. I have gone no where else to purchase my vehicles. My salesman, Austin Lemasters was extrem my sixth or seventh vehicle I have purchased from Galpin. I have gone no where else to purchase my vehicles. My salesman, Austin Lemasters was extremely polite, knowledgeable, pleasant and very friendly. He absolutely exceeded in every way to help me and my wife find the right car at the right price. As always our experience in getting the car I wanted was great. When it came to the most scary part, the financing, John Kelly made it easy. He was very knowledgeable and knew his job well. John explained every aspect of the financing, warranty and all that we needed to know. There were no surprises. They held true to their word. Both Austin and John made buying a car from Galpin easy and stress free. No better place to buy or lease the vehicle you want. More

Although I was very pleased with the vehicle, the sales person for my 2010 when I asked for the bottom line, quoted one price and then when I went to the Finance Person, I was quoted a higher price. Needless to say I was not happy. I still bought the car, although my spouse and I agreed we would not deal with that person again. Knowing that Ford was discontinuing the Ford Flex, I decided to buy a 2014. Wit some reluctance, I decided to return to Galpin to purchase my 2014 Ford Flex. I was met by Vic Arakelian and after informing him of what of what I wanted, he spent the next three days locating the exact model with the features I wanted. When he found what I wanted, he sat down with me, discussed the pricing, and showed me the bottom line. When I went to the Financing Person, the bottom line did not change! I would definitely go to Vic for my next purchase. He was upfront and did not try to sell me what I did not want nor try to get me to compromise. After completing the sale, he spent time with my wife and I helping us setting up the initial features of the Sync System. More

I went into Galpin to buy my leased car and came out very happy with a brand new car. Michael Moses is by far the best salesman i have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was not sure if i was going to happy with a brand new car. Michael Moses is by far the best salesman i have ever had the pleasure of working with. I was not sure if i was going to leave with any car, but he made it possible against all odds. Michael has alot of patience, he is easy to work with, and he is very knowledgeable. It took me 3 visits to finally reach a deal with galpin over the 2014 gt mustang i purchased in November 2013. The second time i was in there i really disliked the sales guy, when going over a trade in i h over the 2014 gt mustang i purchased in November 2013. The second time i was in there i really disliked the sales guy, when going over a trade in i had he kept saying "Mitch" owed him a few favors and he could talk him into getting me 100 to 200 dollars more for my trade. It got really annoying when he kept bringing that up, what does some favor a guy owes you have to do with me getting a fair price on a trade in? A few sales guys had no idea what the mustang was equipped with when i asked about certain features on the vehicle. (i had done my homework so i knew what i was buying) The finance managers or floor managers seem to get annoyed when dealing with you over the vehicle. After that second failed visit, i left to Miller Nissan and left with a brand new Nissan Maxima which might i add the whole experience was smooth. I even remember the guy who sold me the car Kenny! excellent service from them at Miller, no attitude from anyone or grumpy faces. The only reason i went back to Galpin at north hills was because they had the best selection of mustangs and i really wanted one. I had even drove down to Montebello Ford to look at their inventory but it doesnt compare to Galpins. If any other dealer had better inventory id be pleased to do business with them. My third visit at Galpin was not pleasurable either, again haggling with them over getting a fair price on trade in (Maxima i had purchased) and the guys getting upset saying "you expect us to pay you to drive the car or what". First of no, i do not! i was looking for a fair trade in value as compared to KBB on a practically pristine Maxima. I understand you want to make money but i want a good if not fair deal also. Even as an X-plan member it did not work, the finance manager removed that option saying it could not be done even after telling me that i was getting the "red carpet deal". After taking me to his office i was annoyed and wanted to leave but i could not get my deposit back so basically had to force a deal somehow with them. I could go on but i simply just do not recommend the dealer. Its as if they did not want to sell me the car, i have excellent credit and can afford it, so i dont know why they make it seem like my business is a burden. Do yourself a favor check out other dealers before going here id say make it your second or third option. Compared to the experience at miller nissan which i give a 5 out of 5 to id give galpin a 3 or 3.5 at best. They are still better than community chevrolet at burbank tho, now that place is a 2! More
