Initial repair was for an oil leak. Outside of miscommunication about time frame for repair, which took 2 hours longer than estimated, I was pleased with the service. Two days later, my vehicle started leaking gas from near the engine. The clamp on the fuel line broke on the way home from work. I contacted Gandrud immediately and they were able to fit me in first thing in the morning. I brought the vehicle right over that night and had almost no fuel left starting with a full tank and going approximately 10 miles. If I had known the leak was that significant before getting on the highway, I would not have driven. The clamp was replaced at no charge and they filled up the gas tank. Staff wanted to run my car through the wash to clean off the gas from the undercarriage. It was many degrees below zero and my car got stuck in the car wash. The car wash doors froze shut and a repair service was called to fix it. After 4 hours, my car was out. Though there was a comedy of mishaps, the service technicians were professional, honest and provided compensation for the inconvenience. More

I was at Gandrud Dodge 4x's this week. I had my oil changed at the Quick Lube--friendliest guys ever. They kept me informed the entire time and alerted me to some upcoming needs including I had my oil changed at the Quick Lube--friendliest guys ever. They kept me informed the entire time and alerted me to some upcoming needs including an air filter which they did not have in stock but ordered it right away and installed it for me that afternoon. The other concern was my brakes. I went over to the service department to schedule an appointment for that and was informed they'd look it over and let me know what needed to be done. I said they already did that at the Quick Lube and Chris told me they'd rather do their own inspection. Those guys were okay, but... Why would you disrespect another group in your own company? I found that unprofessional. It turned out I had more worries than the brakes which meant I had to drop my Dodge Ram off again. The first thing I am asked is how much money I have sunk into my truck? What? Routine maintenance, but what does that have to do with anything. It was a costly repair, but it has been a good truck. I work in healthcare and was informed the Shuttle would get me to work. The Shuttle driver had no concerns about whether I arrived to work on time and informed me it was a courtesy shuttle. Courtesy? Does she even know what the word means? And if I lose my job, does she intend to pay for my vehicles upkeep. No, I did not get to work on time. I have had service done on my vehicles for years at Gandrud's and this is the first time I felt like the customer did not matter at all. The experience was disappointing and that is saying the least. We’ve been Gandrud customers for 6 years And this was by far our worst experience ever. So we went in for an oil change and told we needed new brakes front and back, which was fine. Set up an appointment for the following week. Come day of the appointment and we get our email confirming. First of all the appointment we scheduled wasn’t the right time, we scheduled our brakes for 9am and they told us to be there at 7am. When we get a call later that day that our jeep is done, we find out they only did the front brakes and haven’t even checked or looked at the back brakes. We ask why….we were told front and back brakes. Then we get told they can’t check our back brakes without breaking things to get to them. So not only do we have no idea what our back brakes are like, we waited 6 and a half hours just for front brakes to be replaced. On top of that, the man at the service desk that called us, informed us that they would call the shuttle to pick us up and bring us back to the dealership. We get ready and wait. Hour goes by. So we call back and they HAVENT EVEN TOLD THE SHUTTLE we need to be picked. So we do it ourselves. Needed our car to go to work and waited hours for nothing. Frustrating. On top of all this, after 6 years of returning service, they don’t even have our name in the system right and can’t find our file every time. Danielle Wacek!! Not Wanek!!!! More

The Way It Should Be! I had a high pitched whistling noise in my 2014 Ram. It began the third week of November. I took the truck to Chrysler World in Abrams because it is c I had a high pitched whistling noise in my 2014 Ram. It began the third week of November. I took the truck to Chrysler World in Abrams because it is close to my house. What a disaster!They had the truck until the middle of January. About the only thing they accomplished was breaking a headlight assembly and not replacing a panel lid from the dashboard. I brought the truck home and then headed to Ganrud. What a difference. They immediately contacted Chrysler and spoke to their engineers. The suggested fix did not work, but, the second one did. They were done with the repair in less than three days. We all thought the sound was coming from the blower motor area. But, it was actually from another part of the truck. Dan K (the mechanic) did a great job fixing the problem and now I do not have a headache every time I drive the truck! Chris Thoma the service advisor was prompt with contacts and kept me up to date with the progress of the repair. I recommend this service department with no reservations. Tom Plasky More
