I have purchased three vehicles from this dealership in the past 20 years, most recently a Subaru in March of 2022. I recently inquired about the availability of a Chevy Bolt EUV. The rebates make them qui the past 20 years, most recently a Subaru in March of 2022. I recently inquired about the availability of a Chevy Bolt EUV. The rebates make them quite competitively priced. I have a 2018 Chevy Volt as a trade. Volts are in great demand and the Chevrolet site quoted a potential KBB trade value of over $27k. I have a firm cash offer from Carvana for $25,500. Trading has the advantage of saving over $2k sales tax. Garber called me twice regarding my interest in the Bolt EUV. I told the person that I had a 2018 Volt in near perfect condition as a trade. I told her about the Chevrolet.com quote and my Carvana quote. She asked me to come in to have the "manager" evaluate my trade. 9:30 appointment. I arrive at 9:30 and receive the sunshine treatment til 9:45. The "manager" is in his office...I can see him. Not on the phone. At 9:45 I took a bathroom break and came back to see the manager take my car for a drive. At 10 am he returns and goes back in his office. 5 minutes later the salesman comes and says...I have your offer...$17,500. I told them that I expected better treatment as a three time customer and that the offer was insulting.They had wasted two hours of my time. I left immediately and told them on the way out that I would never grace the doors of their dealership again. That includes taking my new Subaru to one of their competitors from here on. These tactics are what give car dealerships a bad name. Garber clearly places no value on customer loyalty or repeat business. Needless to say they will get neither loyalty nor repeat business from me. More
