Unfortunately, the vehicle that we wanted to purchase was advertised through this dealership so we had no other choice, but to work with them. Our sales representative did not seem to know answers to basic q advertised through this dealership so we had no other choice, but to work with them. Our sales representative did not seem to know answers to basic questions and seemed frequently confused. He also continuously apologized because he was tired and that he was super busy making us feel like an inconvenience. Once we got to the financial portion, the new finance representative went through things asking us to sign, but did not clarify what we were signing, and we felt rushed when we were trying to read through documents. They had to redo the signatures five different times because the financial advisor kept forgetting to include something here or there. He also did not seem like he knew what he was doing with so many mistakes. After our loan was sent to the dealership, they kept calling me saying that I needed to ask my bank for a cashiers check because the dealership could not process an electronic payment, making more work for me. Once I called my bank, they confirmed that, yes, they can receive an electronic payment, and it was the responsibility of the financial representative to sign a document and return it to our loan company. The only positive thing I could say about the dealership is the sweet lady that welcomes you in the door. More
This is a worthless excuse for a dealership, populated by worthless excuses for human beings who sell lemon cars and screw people over. Avoid Garlyn Shelton like the plague. Barely more than a month ago, worthless excuses for human beings who sell lemon cars and screw people over. Avoid Garlyn Shelton like the plague. Barely more than a month ago, I bought a 2024 CX-90 from them with only 13,000 miles. Within days, it revealed a critical electrical system failure which killed the battery and left my wife stranded with our two young children in the blazing summer sun. We got it to the service department, and they just replaced the battery under factory warranty, without even bothering to check for other causal electrical problems. The problem has reoccurred several times, and has had to be taken to University Mazda Waco for service a further three times, and the electrical issues still aren’t fixed. It’s been in the shop more days than we’ve actually gotten to use this pile of garbage, and there’s still no remedy in sight. We've owned this stupid thing barely more than 30 days, but have only actually gotten to use it probably 1-2 weeks worth of that timeframe. We contacted Garlyn Mazda to ask them to make it right, whether by actually fixing the car or taking it back and refunding our money, or something. ANYTHING. They essentially told us to kick rocks, that they wouldn’t do anything for us, that they didn’t care that they sold us a defective car, and they weren’t required to behave ethically and do the right thing for a clearly wronged customer so they're choosing not to. Beyond unacceptable. TLDR: Garlyn Shelton Mazda‘s worthless xxxxxxxx sold us a total lemon, then failed to service it adequately under warranty, and now refuse to do anything whatsoever to make it right. Don't buy Mazdas, and don't do any kind of business with Garlyn Shelton. More
After much thought, I do not believe that I got a fair price for the condition of the vehicle after getting it home. A chip in the windshield, bald tires, no spare key these items alone cost me over a tho price for the condition of the vehicle after getting it home. A chip in the windshield, bald tires, no spare key these items alone cost me over a thousand dollars! Not to mention the body damage "hail dents panels that need paint.. Verry disappointed that I've got to pay out of my pocket for repairs before my first payment! Also the fact that they fired my salesman and the sales manager upon my return to the dealership. I feel like I got ripped off... More
