I never received a recall, but heard after the fact, that there has been many problems with them on the Explorers. I'm not happy with Ford Motor Co, but I'm very pleased that Crossroads Ford put in an emergency order for the steering gear box. I only had my rental for a few days, so I was ecstatic when they called Monday and said it was fixed. Ford Motor Co. needs to stop using low quality parts or they will be losing a lot of business. More

Good Service I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Crossroads on our 2010 Ford Ranger Pick-up Truck. Our service engine light came on over the I was completely satisfied with the service I received at Crossroads on our 2010 Ford Ranger Pick-up Truck. Our service engine light came on over the weekend and we took it in on Monday morning and they immediately checked it and found that both catalytic converters had gone out. The bad news was it was $2,400.00, the good news they were still under warranty. They had some trouble getting the parts in and had our truck for a week. Our vehicle went into Limp home Mode. Crossroads came through on fixing our 2013 Explorer with Throttle Body Issues. The only thing that disturbed me was the fact that I was told by the Service Advisor that they only provided loaner cars if you purchased the vehicle from them. I found that disturbing since the expensive ESP plan states that it covers rentals. I explained that while I did not purchase that Explorer there that I have purchase 3 vehicles in the past. Thankfully Steve Wooldridge allowed me to get a rental unit. I have nothing but good things to say about the service itself. Steve O'Connell always does an excellent job. I have never purchased a new car where I took delivery and i I have never purchased a new care where I took delivery and it was not cleaned up and all additions attached. The front license plate was not install I have never purchased a new care where I took delivery and it was not cleaned up and all additions attached. The front license plate was not installed. the wheels have a black film on them, the rear window has a haze on it so driving home had problems seeing out of the back window. There is also flaws in the passenger side rim that would have been seen if the car was cleaned. At least I know where not to come for any future car purchases. More
