Total crap show! Hyundai Santa Fe has the high oil usage problem (subject of a recent class action lawsuit) and the service department were just like, OH WELL, it isn Hyundai Santa Fe has the high oil usage problem (subject of a recent class action lawsuit) and the service department were just like, OH WELL, it isn't worth the time to even ask Hyundai even though the vehicle is still well within the warranty period. Going to charge the customer for conducting an oil usage test, for a warranty problem? Why should the financial burden be placed on the customer for a problem that Hyundai is WELL aware of? So instead, they overfill the oil sump to get around the evidence of high usage. This is how you treat a customer after the sale? Do not bother to buy from this dealership. More

Unaccommodating, lack of willingness to help & rude owner I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership and have been overall pleased until this last occurance. A few days after purchasing a vehicle from h I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership and have been overall pleased until this last occurance. A few days after purchasing a vehicle from here, a tire blew out because they had the wrong sized tires on the car. After they replaced the tires, they did not drive the car to see if there were any other issues with the car. To have the tires replaced, it took them FOUR days l... they accomplished a tire per day. The back left wheel was bent so I dropped the car off on Thursday 06/06/19.. the wheel they ordered is the wrong size and now I have to wait til Thursday to pickup the vehicle. Ordering proper sized wheels @ tires should be on the lower end of their spectrum of expertise, right? Maybe not. I’m not driving uncomfortably in a 4 cylinder cardboard seat for another 3 days.. so I have to pay out of pocket for a rental car to better accommodate me due to the dealerships inability to thoroughly inspect a vehicle prior to selling it, their I nability to select the correct sized wheels/tires, and lack of customer service skills to help maintain customer satisfaction. My next vehicle purchase will not be from any of the Gates car dealerships. More

Pleasantly surprised! I will start by saying that I have not always been able to say good things about Gates Hyundai, mainly due to the experiences with their service depar I will start by saying that I have not always been able to say good things about Gates Hyundai, mainly due to the experiences with their service department. They are and have always been extremely friendly, but getting parts in a timely manner and diagnosis of issues with our vehicle have been less than stellar in the past. Now, for the improvements! They have definitely stepped up their game and I assume that might have some to do with their fairly new general manager, Scott Boggus. He went out of his way to help us when our car needed service at the end of the day on a Saturday, when the service department was closed. He gave us a loaner vehicle until they could get to ours on Monday. I really appreciated that, and it shows they really care about their customers! The service department did a great job getting our car fixed and back to us quickly. The detail guy did the best job I have ever seen on cleaning the car! Even the insides of the door wells were shining! Also, for the first time I noticed the fluids topped off, even the oil level! Nice is always great, but performance is what you really need in a service department. And that's what we got from Gates Hyundai! In a world of numerous car dealerships, you have to stand out in order to be successful, and that's what you did for us! Thank you very much! More
