I originally left a 5 star review for Genesis of Corona after purchasing my vehicle but I am deleting that review to leave this one. I come from a Mercedes family and recently switched to Genesis believing after purchasing my vehicle but I am deleting that review to leave this one. I come from a Mercedes family and recently switched to Genesis believing I would be a customer for life. Unfortunately that will not be the case due to my experience with Mayra Trujillo the Service Manager. Service had been exceptional until recently when I was informed that I could no longer use valet service because my windshield is tinted citing California law. That part is completely understandable. What is not understandable is the lack of consistency in how this rule is applied. When I asked Mayra whether valet service was also being denied to customers with tinted front windows which are also illegal in California I was told that enforcement varies by customer. At the time I purchased the vehicle there was never any mention that valet service could be denied for this reason nor is this disclosed anywhere on their website. I run multiple businesses and valet service was a key feature and one of the main reasons I chose Genesis and left Mercedes. This response and approach give the clear impression of favoritism bias and selective enforcement. Customers should be treated equally not singled out. I have filed a formal complaint with Genesis USA and once my lease is complete I will no longer be returning to Genesis. What could have been a lifelong relationship with the brand has unfortunately ended because of this experience. More
They still have not figured out what is expected from a luxury vehicle. I can list a litany of examples, but the latest one was when Derrick picked up the phone in Service, asked if I would hold, left me on hold for 30 minutes, disconnected the line, and when I called back forwarded my call to an automated service. I love my Genesis, but if you want the luxury service that should come with it, buy it somewhere else. More
I've been a loyal customer of Genesis of Corona for over 3 years, but my recent experience with their service department has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I brought in my GV80 for what shou 3 years, but my recent experience with their service department has left me extremely frustrated and disappointed. I brought in my GV80 for what should have been a warranty replacement after the plastic lining of the wheel well fell on its own, got caught in the disc brake, and nearly caused an accident. Despite this being a clear case of part failure (something that happened two years ago and was replaced without issue), they refused to submit the claim, instead suggesting the damage was caused by something else. Oscar, the service advisor, kept changing his story and was inconsistent about whether or not this issue would be covered under warranty. The service manager, Mayra, was unhelpful and dismissive—she simply told me to call the corporate office and then hung up. No alternatives, no solutions. The customer service at this dealership has significantly deteriorated since I purchased my vehicle here, and this incident has cemented my decision to take my business elsewhere. I will not be returning to Genesis of Corona and will be going to a different dealership moving forward. I highly advise others to reconsider before doing business here, especially if you value honesty, accountability, and proper customer service. More

Mayra, who manages the service department is exceptionally rude and has lied multiple times, she is probably their biggest problem. Honesty and professionalism start from the top; they are obviously following her poor lead. I will not buy another car from this dealership and I recently sent a friend to another Genesis dealership to buy her car. More
I had a terrible experience with Genesis of Corona. I was scheduled to go in to the dealership yesterday morning to purchase a G70 that salesman Vladyslav M had agreed to put on hold for me. He had run my credit, we agreed on a price, and I sent my drivers license and insurance to him. He said “congratulations, I will secure the vehicle for you.” I told him I’d be at the dealership when his shift started at 10am, two days later waiting to sign documents. Then at 8pm the night before, he sent me a text stating that he sold the vehicle to someone else. No warning ahead of time that he was negotiating to sell the car to someone else. I sent him a screenshot of the text where he stated he would secure the car for me. He replied and said that “his management can’t hold a car when there is no signed contract.” I’ll be honest, I’ve never felt so burned by any business in my life. Vladyslav and the sales manager of this dealership have epitomized the negative stereotype of the unscrupulous auto dealer, and I am sorry to have crossed paths with either of them. I purchased a G70 from another dealership yesterday. They were extremely helpful. I purchased the vehicle over the phone with minimal hassle. It is being delivered today. The Corona dealership could learn a lot from the team in Palm Springs. Unfortunately I have no avenue for recourse, other than to share my experience through word of mouth to anyone in my network who inquires about my car or my experience. More
