About three months ago I started searching for a Hyundai Sonata GLS with manual transmission in the St Louis area. I was living in Hawaii at the time, but was moving to southern IL by early July. I sent requests for price quotes to at least 4 Hyundai dealers in the greater St Louis area. In my requests, I told the dealers I hated the "game" of car buying and I just wanted the price they could sell the car for. Only Mungenest came thru with a reasonable price given the fact I was buying the car sight unseen and without a test drive. Long story short, Charlie Sutton and Eric Krumm came up with the price and car buying experience I required. My family got a wonderful car for a very competative price. After returning to the St Louis area in early July, we popped over to Mungenast Hyundai and the boys quickly wrapped up the deal. We were in and out of the dealer in less than an hour. Perfect! We started buying new Hyundai cars in 2003, and given what we've experienced with this Sonata so far, we'll be buying more in the future. Charlie and Eric at Mungenast Hyundai will have the first opportunity to make a deal with us next go-around. Thanks! More

I would highly recommend Mungenast Hyundai for anyone searching for a new car. I came to Mungenast after attempting a sale deal with another dealership. I was not planning to buy a car the day I went to searching for a new car. I came to Mungenast after attempting a sale deal with another dealership. I was not planning to buy a car the day I went to look at Mungenast's inventory, however, Kelly and her manager were EXTREMELY open to prices and deals that I walked out with a brand new Elantra. I cannot say enough about how friendly the entire team was. I also want to point out that Kelly was extremely effective when communicating about the price and explaining the entire purchase process. The price I ended up paying for my new Elantra was much lower than I expected it to be(or thought I could get). They gave me well over what I expected for my trade-in and were very, very eager to help sell the car for the price that was reasonable for both myself and them. At 24 years old, fresh out of school, Kelly (and her manager) made the entire car purchasing process enjoyable. I got a great deal because Mungenast was committed to making the customer happy. Words cannot describe the experience I had at Mungenast. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a new car, and will be back myself in the future. FANTASTIC JOB KELLY! :) More

In the past, I have always had a man go with me to purchase a car. Dealing with Kelly Sullivan was a great experience buying my new 2012 Tucson! She was thorough from beginning to end. So from my previous review, today was my first oil change. Of course everyone wants to feel special all the time, and not just because he/she is in the market to buy a new car; maintenance and servic change. Mungenast again, hit it out of the park today! Although the service department was VERY busy, I was again well taken care of and did not feel like a hindrance or a "thorn in anyone's side." My name was remembered, everything was explained in detail, and was of course, welcomed back. Don, in service, and I were in his office going over what needed to be done today and another employee came in to ask him for something. Don, very politely said as soon as we were all finished and I was set to go, then he would be with him. He could have left me in the office to take care of whatever it was, but he didn't. He took his time until we were finished and I appreciate that. Of course while waiting I saw a familiar face who recognized me as well. Good 'ol Joe who sold me my new car!! He has such a "friend" persona and not the typical "sleezeball salesman." He remembered everything! My job (I'm off for the summer), that my sister came with me to purchase my car, and the make, model, and color of my car as well. While waiting, he stopped by to check to see if I needed anything. It was great to know (and see) I wasn't just a number to meet a quota; he really cared. The Mungenast dealership IS a family, and I'm proud to be a part of it. More

I have never had a better care purchase experience then I have had with Charlie Sutton and Kelly Sullivan. They were more then accomodating to me, in finding the new Sonata of my dreams. I even left my garag have had with Charlie Sutton and Kelly Sullivan. They were more then accomodating to me, in finding the new Sonata of my dreams. I even left my garage door opener in my trade-in and they found it for me! Apparently the car I picked ended up being a service car, so when I brought it back in to be replaced, I got one with even more bells and whistles! This is my second car leased through Mungenast with Charlie, and I know I will continue to return there and recommend my friends as well!! More
I was trying to get a new car. But they told me due to my credit score isn't good enough (641ish), I cant get that car even lease for it. Eventually, I got that car from other dealer, the price was 2,400 dollar cheaper than the price John and Kelly gave me. And John told me I cant get a car loan but I got a car loan below 9%!!! Anyway, I still keep the text message from Kelly "Sorry-good luck-hope it works out and you get the car for that!!" What a bad sales people and bad service they were. That was a worst attitude from a sales people ever!! More
