Several things: You needed to understand we were coming from TWO HOURS away because the EXACT car I wanted was only available at your dealership. You needed to do a better job explaining WHY your trade was from TWO HOURS away because the EXACT car I wanted was only available at your dealership. You needed to do a better job explaining WHY your trade was something we could not use, and see if you would agree to REMOVE the trade and make a deal. Chris mentioned you were "losing money" on the car? That's NOT important to us, that's YOUR issue. And you HAVE to think we might ask for a MORE off a car that's almost two model years old? Did you really think we were just going to agree to whatever YOU wanted? The documentation fee is just extra profit, it's ok "everyone" charges it, since it's being ADDED back in, should be willing to negotiate a little, SOMETHING! We came BACK because I decided it was the car my wife wanted. When we arrived, the car had bird crap on it, and was in no condition to be driven home, and you KNEW we were coming!!!! We would have given you authorization to run our credit to get the ball rolling so when we got there we could save time, but there was NO respect of our time, as it was we spent HOURS BOTH TIMES to get something done. We live TWO HOURS away!!! The finance manager was nice, but totally confused us as to what we were buying with regards to warranties. When my husband said he was confused by the numbers, he said he "needs to do better on his presentation" HUH? When we took delivery, the car had water spots and was not totally detailed out. Even worse, you (Fawn) had to ADD washer fluid to it? The car has 262 miles on it, so it was NEVER inspected for delivery! Also, under the hood, the engine compartment had leaves and dust all over. Regardless of how long it was on the lot, I am pretty sure Genesis folks wouldn't want a $48,000 car being delivered in that way! We drove two hours EACH WAY TWICE to buy a car, and all we "saved" was $100 for our convenience?? While it is true we haven't bought a new car in 12 years, we had way better experiences in the past. We expecting better buying the most expensive car we ever have. Very disappointing, the good thing is I love the car, but the process sucked in several ways.......:( More

Dan Doble has always given me great customer service. Whenever something should be covered by Hyundai he goes out of his way to make sure the bill isn't my responsibility.
