This is most likely a temporary review as it has nothing to do with the work done and hopefully my issues with my experience will not be applicable soon. I went in for scheduled maintenance and like most ra to do with the work done and hopefully my issues with my experience will not be applicable soon. I went in for scheduled maintenance and like most rational people I checked their website before going to see if it listed their covid safety policies. The website claims that they are cleaning thoroughly and requiring employees to wear masks whenever they are inside the building, inside a vehicle, or interacting with a customer. I consider that all to be reasonable so I decided to go in for my service. Much to my chagrin, at least half of the employees in the service department were not wearing masks inside. One maskless employee beckoned me over to assist me, I must have had a look on my face because after a couple seconds of talking to me, she stopped and asked if I had a problem with her not wearing a mask. I said that I would definitely appreciate her wearing one and her response was “well sorry, I will not”. To her credit, she did pass me along to another employee who was wearing a mask to finish my appointment. As a bartender, I know the things that businesses have to do (and should do) for the safety of their customers. Their website clearly states that employees are required to mask up as company policy (not to mention that not masking is a violation of the statewide mandate) but Boucher has clearly decided not to follow their own policies. I have no doubt that the work done on my vehicle was done well, but they don’t seem to care about the safety of their customers (or employees for that matter), instead bowing to what I can only assume is some sort of political statement about personal “freedoms”. Until we have covid under control or they start enforcing their own safety measures, I cannot in good conscience recommend getting your vehicle serviced here. The number of stars below is a representation of adherence to covid measures. The people I dealt with were pleasant and efficient, but to lackadaisical with their safety measures which should be very important. More
