It is worth noting that there is a dealership within five minutes from my residence, however, as a result of past experience with Center Subaru I made a very conscious choice to travel a greater distance when considering a new vehicle. Frank is the consummate professional, attentive to my needs and budget. I would reccomend Center Subaru and more specifically, Frank Marchion, to my friends and associates without reservation. Did as promised We were searching for an affordable spare awd car. We didn't want a junk, we didn't want a brand new one. We wanted low mileage, reliable and affordable to us. We researched cars and dealers on line for weeks. We got several email responses and phone calls. Our first appointment was with Center Subaru and when we got there our sales lady had left! Mike Pereschino offered to help us. He showed us a car, we thanked him, told him we were still looking and left. We went to another dealer and again, the salesman we had an appointment with had left and another salesman helped us. He was nice. He showed us a car that had been in an accident (which we realized after asking for the carfax). Then we got a song and dance about minimal damage, etc. We were done with him and that dealership. Another dealership from the coast offered to bring the exact car I was looking for to me (from 1 1/2 hrs away). Great! Except that when I called to confirm 2 hrs in advance he told me it had been sold that very morning (imagine that!) I said ok. He emailed me later offering to sell me a brand new one way out of my price range. I passed. I called Mike at Center Subaru who had been keeping in touch with me but NEVER pressuring me. When he was supposed to meet me, he was there. When he was supposed to email me, I got an email. When I asked him to call me at a certain time, he called. I never felt that he was lying to me. If I had, I wouldn't have bought a car from him. He didn't make me promises he wasn't going to keep. And while he was willing to do a couple things in order to make the sale service-wise, they did not budge on the price. I had done my homework though and I knew I was getting a fair deal. And really, that's all I ask. Don't lie, cheat or steal from me. Just be fair. I felt they were. I ended up with the first car I looked at but I didn't jump at it. Do your research and only give your money to someone who doesn't lie to you! I recommend Mike Pereschino at Center Subaru in Torrington! More
