Reached out to purchase a specific CPO Vehicle This is my first time purchasing a car from a dealer. I had test drivin the Subaur Impreza at a dealer closer to me, and knew that was the vehicle I w This is my first time purchasing a car from a dealer. I had test drivin the Subaur Impreza at a dealer closer to me, and knew that was the vehicle I wanted. I wanted a CPO, within a set budget, with specific interest rate for my loan, and a sunroof. The dealer I had originally visited was pushing for me to purchase new impreza, noting CPO Impreza's with a sunroof (which was one feature I really had my heart set on) were difficult to find etc, etc,etc. I was waiting to purchase until I finished paying off my student loan (but unfortunatly my current car had a transmission on its way out). I was very cautious about spot buying and concerned about staying within or under my budget so I could finish off my student loan. I walked away from that dealer, with hopes my current vehicle would not die before I could find the CPO car I wanted and set up a plan to payt off my student loan faster. I reached out to Center Subaru a little over a month later when I noticed on carguru that the vehicle had recently dropped in price. I sent a message Sunday, saw the car Monday, and picked it up Wednesday. I live and work in NY so travelled over an hour (each way) to see and purchase the vehicle. It was worth every second of time. David was prompt attentive and fantastic to work with. He got me ready to go with an interest rate for my loan and value of my trade in (which wasn't much, due to my car's por condition). The car was exactly as listed on carguru & the Center Subaru as listed. David even offered to let me take the car that night seeing as my old car had a transmission issue, but didn't push back too much when I choose to come back to get my new vehicle. Unfortunatley when I returned on Wednesday, and sat down there was some issue with the interest rate I was originally informed of (apparently it was a newer employee working on getting those numbers that evening nad a mistake was made). Kit (Finance person) was a SAINT, I am a bit high strung and immediatly started freaking out when told the interest rate would be over 1% higher than I was told originally. He quickly resolved the issue, and did everything to ensure I was happy. As mentioned previously I am aware I can be quite a pain, and neurotic; both Kit and David were prompt, understanding and never once made me feel uncomfotable for asking 3 hundred questions. The vehilce is great, I love it and would be reccomending anyone looking for a Subaru head over to Ceneter SUbaru. If I lived cloaser I would go there for service. Facility is clean, up-to-date, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE! More
