My wife and I came to Gengras Lincoln Volvo to look at a couple of used cars (a 2004 Volvo and a 2003 Toyota) that we saw in their online inventory. There was no pressure from him or his sales manager for us to make any kind of decision on the spot. We came back the next day and bought the Toyota for a very reasonable price. After arriving home, we noticed the power sunroof would not move to the fully closed position without some fiddling. Called Gengras and they had no problem fixing that in their shop under the standard 60-day warranty. We dropped it off at their Lincoln shop for the repair and also mentioned the steering wheel was squeaky, and as long as it was in the shop, would they see if they could fix this minor annoyance and that I would be happy to pay for that. (After all, I had heard the squeak on the test drive.) They adjusted the sun roof and located/fixed the squeak, all at no charge! It has been a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend them to friends. More

I had purchased my first and last Volvo (ever), and when I traded it back in and then told them I had no intention of buying another vehicle, the manager, Eric, was extremely insulting. The sales person never inquired as to my next car intentions before negotiating the trade value and then Eric had the nerve to say I was "deceptive". Customers shouldn't need to be subjected to that treatment EVER. I would never get another car from any of the Gengras dealerships and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. Volvo USA should know how their brand is represented by Gengras East Hartford. More

I bought a Lincoln MKS 2009 from this dealer. I realised within the first months that something wrong with the car. It was an unbearable smell when I turned on the seat heating and the car was slow. Also I experinced that on long drive my cars breaks are smelling in the passanger side front is hot. They find one of my problem with the car on the third visit, another 2 vist needed to fix it. The other issues newer were addressed. My calls remained unanswered. The service manager refused to drive my car in order to find the problem. More
