Emergency service I had never been to Gengras Volvo before. Driving through CT all my warning lights came on at once. After pulling over and checking under the hood, I had never been to Gengras Volvo before. Driving through CT all my warning lights came on at once. After pulling over and checking under the hood, I restarted the engine and the check engine light stayed on. I searched online for the nearest Volvo service and found Gengras. I got the car there, even though they were busy, they were able to get me into service. Within an hour, they identified the problem and got me on my way for the next four hours of my trip. The most disturbing thing is the way they do business: try to get you in the door and then squeeze you from that very moment! We had a price guarantee certificate from edmunds.com and they knew we had that price guarantee from early the process as I have forwarded it to the salesman by email. the so-called manager didn't want to honor it (and she even wanted to increase the price by more than $500) and made up various reasons and at the end, she even said: well, it's just a way of business promotion we do with edmunds.com, we don't have to sell it to you at that price. Hey, that doesn't sound right: if you cannot afford it, then don't advertise it publicly and then eat your own words! We purchased 4 new cars in the past 10 years and this is the worst experience. It's not only about the price, more importantly, there is no trust and respect. You definitely want to stay away a dealer that lacks both. More

No exceptions on return items. The dealership has absolutely no forgiveness for ordering wrong parts. So, if you figure out how to fix your car and save yourself some money, you might be stuck with a $170 fuel line. After just purchasing a used Volvo that needs minor repairs I can say without a doubt that all replacement parts are EXTREMELY expensive. And if you value your money DO NOT buy a used Volvo. In addition, based on the huge recall and issues with newer models I think it would be an extremely unwise idea to purchase a new Volvo. So if you're thinking about going Volvo because they supposedly run forever, get ready to pay a fortune trying to maintain it. Learn from my mistake! More
