I w When I called the dealership this past Tuesday to inquire about a vehicle I saw online, I was fortunate enough to be transferred to Mike Boshans . I was in the market for a replacement for my GMC Terrain and was interested in a Chevy Traverse that had caught my eye. Since I live about an hour from the dealership in Missouri, Mike made sure to check if the vehicle was available for a test drive before I made the trip. Each time I called, he promptly returned my calls. When I got to the dealership, to my surprise he had already pulled the vehicle up and into what I will call a "display garage" for me to sit in and inspect while he finished with another customer. I was very direct with him about what my goal was for the trade-in and what my goal was for the sale. We spent very little time arguing cost. He appeared to be transparent on what margin the dealership had on the vehicle. It was a 2016 and based on Chevy's incentives, it was clear they were trying to make way for new 2017 inventory that is in transit. Nonetheless, I feel as if I was treated fairly. The sales manager Keith made it a point to stop by and say hello and thank you, the next day when I was in he surprisingly remembered my name (most people completely under value how important this is to people). Ron my finance manager was very patient with me and stayed late to allow me time to decide on my financing options, and Matt was a lot of fun the next day in showing me the technology ins and outs of my purchase. All in all, I had a great experience. Of course, I always feel like I should have negotiated the cost a little more, but I am confident that I got a great value for the vehicle I purchased. Doug was great to work with from the start and gave me upfront and fair pricing from the beginning. His whole goal wa to make sure that I was happy, and he worked hard to do that. He gave me a great price on my trade in and gave me the easiest and most pleasurable buying process I've ever had. The finance manager and service rep were also great.
