What makes a dealership reputable is the people who works there. I had very good experience with the people I dealt with. My sales person was Ahmet Sezer, JOe Nusko was the manager and the Finance person w there. I had very good experience with the people I dealt with. Went in on Saturday, Dec 8, '13. I've done business with other Honda dealers, and wasn't too pleased overall with the way business was done. I researched this one, and it seemed to have good reviews. I had been communicating via email and phone with Brian Grewe - Sales Consultant regarding my interest in a 2010 Honda Insight, prior to our visit to dealer. Brian is a down to earth kind of guy, no pressure to buy, all around very personable, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, the car we were interested in was taken already. We looked at my second choice, a 2012 Corolla. Not a bad drive. Tried to finance it but, however, we could not make the numbers work during the finance stage of car buying. Milan, the finance guy, suggested we look at a pre-driven certified 2010 Honda Civic EX, (52K+ miles) that had just been surrendered from a lease. We did, and actually liked it much better in ride quality over the newer 2012 Corolla, (22K miles.) I pointed out to Brian that the tires of the Civic were very worn all around, and he said that the car is certified and should be covered. We went back to the finance office, tried to work out the finance details, and finally agreed to a reasonable deal with Milan and Mike, the Sales Manager. Despite our long 5 hours at the dealer (they were very busy,) we bought our second car. We had to leave it overnight to be completely checked and officially certified. Not a problem. During the closing of the deal, we were told that the car was going to get a new set of tires. A pleasant surprise - not what I expected. I'm not someone who looks forward to buying a car. The whole process of negotiating, and playing with numbers is not me. However, if you want a car, and you're planning on visiting a dealer for your next purchase, let me recommend Continental Honda in Countryside. It went better than what I had expected, plus they have a Keurig coffee machine with a good selection coffee and tea K-cups. Be sure to ask for Brian, for great service. Had a wonderful experience at Continental Honda in Countryside, IL! We were in the market for a pre-owned Certified Honda Pilot with low miles and some extras. We looked high and low for one that fit Countryside, IL! We were in the market for a pre-owned Certified Honda Pilot with low miles and some extras. We looked high and low for one that fit in our price range and had all we wanted. No one came close in price to Continental. Immediately when I found my car on their website I figured it was too good to be true. We called Continental and set up an appointment with Jimmy Laudonckas. When I arrived that night Jimmy could not have been more helpful. Having my 21 month son in tow trying to climb into every car on the floor, Jimmy was patient, and kind - and helped me out entertaining him while I was looking over the pilot. He pulled the pilot into the service area so I could look it over in the light since it was dark out. The pilot was perfect - it had one or 2 tiny tiny imperfections on the side trim that HE actually pointed out to me which showed he was honest. And after a test drive I knew that was my car. He had me convinced but my husband still needed to see it and look it over so they held the car for us for 2 days when we could make it back in. There was a few minor things my husband asked if they could do to it and they were more than happy to oblige. The finance department and Milan Vasilijevic were also more than helpful. Going back and forth with financing options Milan worked with us to get the very best APR for us and even checked other financing options to make sure they were the best option for us. Jimmy even took my son a ride on the golf cart to appease him as we made one last "look over". And when it was all said and done and we were ready to take the new car home I walked over to my old car (which I was very sad to let go of and trade in- it was my very first car) Jimmy saw that I was a little sad to say goodbye and offered to take one last picture of me with it. It was a small gesture that I thought was very kind and personal. And that's what you get with Continental - they are NOT some big box dealer that will say anything and wheel and deal or pressure you to get you to buy - but it's more of a relaxed and "homey" dealership that will work with you as if you have been friends or family for years. To me that speaks volumes - and I look forward to seeing the team when I will bring the pilot in for service. They have gained a loyal customer for any future vehicles in our future as well. So thank you to the Continental Honda team, thank you to Jimmy and Milan, you not only gave me a great car, but a feeling of reassurance and trust that I made the right decision in purchasing from you!
