I tried for 2 weeks beginning Sep 27 to get an appointment for service. Left multiple calls, voicemails, and spoke to the operator twice, each time getting promised calls that never came. I finally got through in mid October to be told the earliest possible time was November 2. That was over a month from my initial call. it was an ABS warning that indicated it needed to be taken to a dealer. This criticism should in no way reflect on the service person, Tracy Lambert, who actually assisted me on the actual date of service. If anything she saved the dealership from my total disappointment and disdain That had occurred during the 5 weeks of no communication in my effort to get an appointment. Unfortunately the problem was diagnosed but the part had to be back ordered so I have to wait for the part to arrive before being rescheduled to complete the repair. More

Service advisor didn’t listen and wrote down a completely different issue than what I told him. I stated the rear end made noice when doing u turns or sharp turns. Even in grass so I knew it wasn’t the tires … I get called a couple hours later with him saying couldn’t find any 4WD issues…I told him that it’s not the 4WD and I never said it was! When asked why he couldn’t have them dig more into the noise in the rear end most likely the limited slip, he stated there was no reason to…. Basically drive it until it breaks…so we get home from picking it up and look on the service advisor notes and it says “ customer states Jeep is jumping around like 4WD is stuck” 🤦🏻♂️ I never said anything about the 4WD and jumping around. I’m a born and raised Florida cracker who has owned many jeeps. I know how to trail ride and tell if the 4x4 is engaged or stuck engaged on pavement…..I was always warned about dealing with Gettle in punta gorda since moving here from fort Myers. Now I know why. Sucks because the Gettle in Sarasota and Bradenton where I work has treated me outstanding. I have tried Gettle PG for service a few times now for the benefit of the doubt and just have had bad luck with them diagnosing the rear end noises this Jeep keeps having. Charlotte county residence just keep doing what we always do and avoid Gettle punta gorda like the plague. I even went to Roger Dean Chevy on Saturday to purchase my 23 Chevy Silverado I was in the market for not going to waste my money somewhere that can’t even list the correct issue to look at on the gladiator.
