I had a few unexpected surprises after signing off on a new car lease lease. Some of it was caused by a mistake I made. However, I walked away feeling cheated. I've found that the dealership service is great. However the in-house financing they offer is shady at best. I didn't need to use the financing but wanted the extra cushion. Upon payment for the se However the in-house financing they offer is shady at best. I didn't need to use the financing but wanted the extra cushion. Upon payment for the service, the financing company wanted over $1,000 down payment which was never disclosed in the previous authorization phase. It was no trouble for me but I can't imagine someone else with a much tighter budget being able to handle. Definitely shady business practices. More
