The adviser assigned was not in the best of attitudes towards the customer. Had a growing frustration when questions were asked and did not demonstrate great customer service. Very nice facility, clean comfortable while I waited for my car to be serviced. Service tech, very polite, very willing to take care of me. Nicest auto facility I have every used. When I checked in to the Service Lane for my 3:00 appointment 6-15-23, Service Advisor Byron saw that I was using a walker and moving slow. He explained the diagnostic fee and I signed and stated tha appointment 6-15-23, Service Advisor Byron saw that I was using a walker and moving slow. He explained the diagnostic fee and I signed and stated that I would be waiting for the car. I patiently waited and then received a video from the technician explaining what he found. No problems up to this point. When the Service Advisor (Byron) finally came and talked to me almost an hour after I received the video from the technician, it was to tell me that he had submitted the parts to the warranty company and that he was waiting for a response and would come talk to me when he knows more. That was the first contact with the advisor in over 2 hours from initial contact. I explained to him that I was just working on a note describing my visit so far so that I could give some constructive criticism I had spent over 20 years in the car business myself and having done some time doing the same job as Byron, I thought he should know that customers just want to know that their vehicle is being worked on or that they haven't been forgotten about. Instead of Byron simply apologizing for the wait , his expression changed to bewilderment and clearly didn't like what I said. I explained that I thought "Great, the guy with the walker that is in pain when he walks has to go find the Service Manager because he appeared that he couldn't be bothered. He said well, you can do what you want and turned and walked away. I asked where the Service Managers Office is and he ignored me and kept walking. Other customers were of course surprised at his behavior as well. I had no choice but to experience more pain and do the long slow walk from the waiting area to speak with the Service Manager. The Service Manager was clearly in a bad spot and he personally oversaw the progress and said that he would speak with the Service Advisor. As a proud 100% Disabled Veteran, I can say that I have been through many a tough spot. I honestly didn't think that I would face the amount of disrespect that received from Byron the Service Advisor. I have brought all three of my Toyota cars to this dealership for the past 5 years for all routine service and not had a problem. I like the dealership but am not a fan of Byron. More
