I was excited to be so close to a Toyota Dealership, and a well rated one at that, so I had called a couple times to schedule my tacoma for an oil change, each time I received the same quote of $74.95 full a well rated one at that, so I had called a couple times to schedule my tacoma for an oil change, each time I received the same quote of $74.95 full synthetic. I finally just decided to drop it off first thing in the morning and pick it up later in the day. Now, I'm smart enough to understand that there will be tax and other fees added to the $74.95 that I was quoted but my bill was $97 when I went to pick up. I asked why it was such a big difference a d the first response I got was "thats just the tax"... $22? So they looked again and said "oh you were charged for the amount of oil a Corolla would get"... but why? The last response was I was given an old quote... but I had called that morning so that doesn't make sense. After telling them I brought in my truck based on the price I had been told it'd be multiple time, they finally adjusted the bill. Their website has a $15 oil change coupon that I was planning on using as well and when I mentioned it the response was "you want me to take even more off??" So I said nevermind because I started to feel a bit uncomfortable. I'm also a bit concerned they maybe didn't put the right amount of oil in since they didnt document it at the full amount a 6cyl tacoma takes. Overall a bit disappointed.... will likely try somewhere else for my next service. More
