They charged 700 to screw back on a new crank sensor that fell off. They say it was for diagnostic and inspection fees mostly. The cam sensor fell off a couple weeks later. I checked under the hood.. They left the intake box off and missing entirely. Bolts an alt bracket look brand new.. and are halfway in and crossthreaded they must have missed all this in the inspection. I broke the bolt in the cam sensor. I dropped it off and asked if they could tell me what it would take to get it out. They gave me 3 estimates remove timing cover and belts $1200 left apart and I do the bolt. $1800 and they do another new timing belt with it. And the bolt is extra.. Over $3000 if they do the bolt (new head because they don't want to do the bolt) I spoke to manager.. he told me Noone had actually looked. And kept talking about a new head. I asked him if someone would actually look to see if they could reach the bolt. I'm not here to do a head I'm here to know if you will work on it. He said he would look and I never got a call back.. I called them and they told me the newest $3000 estimates for a new head and timing belt again. I said no. At no time did they say they want 200 bucks to jerk me around foe 3 weeks and not look at it before an estimate. If the manager just did not want to take the work the responsible thing is to say no.. not keep leading to big estimates and saying you have not looked at it. After the first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and was going to ask them about the missing box and bolt.. they never got that far. Heather in the office was sweet More
