Lying Disrespectful Uncooperative Today I purchased a car from Audi / Volkswagen Glenwood Springs. I was told that the breaks had been fully replaced as well as having been through a f Today I purchased a car from Audi / Volkswagen Glenwood Springs. I was told that the breaks had been fully replaced as well as having been through a full inspection. On my way home from the dealership there was bad wobbling in the steering wheel when I braked. It got worse as I drove the vehicle and then it started making grinding noises. I called and brought it back in to have it checked out. The mechanic immediately determined there was something wrong with the breaks. First Strike! They totally lied about repacking the breaks. They replaced the rotors and pads in the front. I went back down to Glenwood to pick up the car. When I got there I explained that I didn’t trust their inspection because they missed something so obvious. I told them I needed to have the car gone over by an independent mechanic and that they needed to pay for it. At this point they refused to meet my request. They turned the problem back on me and made me feel like it was my fault. They complained that I cost them money and time fixing the breaks. They were hostile and rude beyond belief. All it would have taken was paying $100 to get a mechanic to look it over and I would have felt good about buying the car, but instead they made me feel terrible and did not help me out at all. I would not recommend even setting foot in this dealership. They are liars and rude and disrespectful and will make make you feel uncomfortable if you point out any problems. Do not shop here. More
