Brought it to my mechanic and when he pulled the dipstick it had virtually no oil in it! He had to add 6 quarts of oil to get the dipstick to have anything on it! I called Gold Coast and they were no help at all! 2 weeks later the engine seized!!! More

Very very low trade in offer my wife went in and the used SUV was definitely a great price however she was told 3500 for our trade-in. A few other dealers had offered 7000 and the my wife went in and the used SUV was definitely a great price however she was told 3500 for our trade-in. Sold me a LEMON You don't expect a reputable dealership to sell you a LEMON. I even asked the guy very seriously if the car was a LEMON bc it was a used Caddy, priced You don't expect a reputable dealership to sell you a LEMON. I even asked the guy very seriously if the car was a LEMON bc it was a used Caddy, priced very low, and he said "No" as he shoved "car sold as is" paperwork for me to sign. Shady business. If this place has a deal thats too good to be true, pass on it. I would never purchase from here again. The icing on the cake was when I found papers in the glove compartment from the previous owner. Apparently the previous owner bought this LEMON from Gold Coast and because it didn't work, he sold it back to them as a trade in for another car. They must have taken the car back because they knew they dishonestly sold him a LEMON aka "AS IS". A bunch of crooks. I have prob already put in the same amount I spent on the car trying to fix it. I am very close to junking the car as it was a waste of money and everytime I get it fixed, something else comes up. I have had it for 4 months! 4 months! Very disappointing from this "reputable" dealership. Don't buy any used cars from here that sit in their back back lot to the far right behind the trees. They are all crap. Good lookers, but crap. Shame on you Gold Coast! More

lied about the warranty and refused to honor it. If you buy a used car at full price and it has a dealer "PLATINUM" warranty of 6 months and they sell you an extended warranty the extended warranty ( If you buy a used car at full price and it has a dealer "PLATINUM" warranty of 6 months and they sell you an extended warranty the extended warranty (Which Is Truly Only An Extended Service Contract With another Entity and Separate From The Sale) it starts after the dealer warranty expires. The purchased warranty by no means supersedes the dealerships responsibility to honor their own warranty that came with the auto. The Magneson Moss act of congress 2006 covers this explicitly under Service contracts and Implied warranty being two separate items, either of which has nothing to do with the other. When we purchased the new/used car at GOLD COAST CADILLAC we were asked if we wanted the extended warranty were told that we could cancel it at any time, (60 days no charge) the car we purchased had a "platinum warranty " on it 6 months or 6000 miles so after us being at the dealership for 4 hours already, tired and hungry with dogs waiting at home, we said yes... and called the next day to verify the "Platinum Warranty" have the sales mans voice on tape stating yes its in your glove box paperwork and file...With the trade in plus a $3000 down payment and a $30499 purchase, nothing not even acknowledgement of the automatic warranty as stated on the window sticker. So we cancelled the extended warranty on Friday and now we have oil all over the driveway...but we have the "platinum warranty" issued by the dealership. I had expected, the extended warranty to be added on to the end of the dealers warranty, No, according to them, they cancelled the dealer warranty cause I bought the extended warranty.(service contract).. I didnt hear any of this at point of sale, wasn't told this or anything about these 'facts', I even have the salesman Bob Foster on my answering machine saying no no you've got the Platinum warranty just look in your file we gave the paperwork to you, the day of the sale. I still have paperwork and the door signage and screen shots of Dealer warranty. NJ Law says specifically that there is an implied warranty, and you get that no matter what, unless you sign papers saying bought AS IS. no, I did not purchase as is! Today though all of a sudden I have no warranty cause I cancelled the big sale. a service contract at $3675 for 3 years or 36000 miles with a $200 deductible. This was supposed to be added on at the end of the Platinum warranty that came with the purchase of the car. So now they're telling me that the oil leak isn't caused by a gasket problem and I have to pay for all repairs ( They have NOT looked at the car yet to see this is all over the phone and this could be as simple as an oil plug not in all the way, an oil filter not tightened properly or a pcv blow by situation where the crankcase is overfilled ),but I got don't bring it here, not our problem, bring it to your Audi dealer! .....I've had the car for 27 days 23 days while they repaired the a/c.... and they are lying through their teeth at me cause they've no idea what an implied warranty or the platinum warranty on the car entitles me to, Or maybe they do! GOLD COAST is leaving me without recourse but to bring it to the Audi dealer and or fix it myself. Good luck this was my second purchase from them and more then likely my LAST!~ More
