They let you know what to look out for in exorbitant and predatory fees. How to haggle with them and how to get you lowest price. For me it was a colossal waste of time. As soon as I stepped on the lot there was no pressure. The salesman, Josh, caught me walking around asked me what I was looking for, guided me that way and answered all my questions. While I was taking a test drive, they appraised my trade in and when I came back they had a price for me. This is where all my YouTube training was going to come into play. Only there wasn’t anything on the sheet except for the price, taxes, plate transfer. And even that was correct, no added money for the plate transfer. My appraisal was what I had calculated from the carvana website. Even when I spoke to the nice finance lady, there was no pressure, when she mentioned the wheel insurance, I let her know that I didn’t need any of that but was interested in the extended warranty. Was in and out in half an hour and that was mostly waiting for the paperwork. I’m not sure if that is normal, since I didn’t finance, but it was an easy experience with no pressure at all. More
