I will try to be as fair as I posible can to do this review, I have always been I loyal costumer of Gorman McCraken volkswagen Mazda of Longview, literally all of my cars have been purchased here I have review, I have always been I loyal costumer of Gorman McCraken volkswagen Mazda of Longview, literally all of my cars have been purchased here I have not a problem with VW cars, but recently (December) I took my truck for a repair, they gave me an estimate for over 10K, I ask if it still was under warranty which they said NOT COVERED, Ok, I double check on my own and my truck was still under warranty, so I came back and told them and they said that they have to check the truck again and I said, “so the first estimate for over 10k is not good anymore? What’s wrong with that estimate?, I may be missing something I don’t know, they agreed to repair my truck mean while I ask for a loan car which they said there wasn’t any available, ok fine. Got a call from dealer requesting permission to fix an arm that goes from transmission to the wheel, they said it was broken and wasn’t safe to drive ( not broken when I first took the truck) not happy about it but I agree after all Am not going to be spending much, fine. Got truck “fixed” drove it and was a big surprise TRUCK RUN LIKE CRAP, shaking, diesel fumes in the cabin, took it back next day and they work on it for almost another month. end of April 2022 almost 4 months now, have to pick up my car since I don’t have another car, still not running right after paying for parts that they thought was the problem, but no.I End up with a car that is running worst that when I brought it to them. More

DO NOT BUY HERE! !! Unethical liars, wouldn't pay a $13 toll fee that THEIR driver incurred while delivering my vehicle. A year and a half later, (now $53), still not !! A year and a half later, (now $53), still not paid and sent to collections under MY name, despite numerous conversations and assurances that they would or did take care of it. No sir. That vehicle was not registered to me at the time of the fee. NOT MY FEE. Absolutely ridiculous. And the vehicle was delivered with rear end damaged, that was not present at time of purchase. They did pay for that FINALLY, 3 days after the repairs were finished. What a bunch of bull! NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!! More

If I could give it a zero I would or less after going back to the dealership today. A week ago, I went BUY a vehicle from Gorman McCracken Longview dealership, and I specifically told them I didn't want back to the dealership today. They rushed through the paperwork not explaining any details and I check my credit report and it shows a lease account. I also, told them I didn't want my payment over 600 dollars a month. This agreement was for purchase, and I find out that its 606 dollars a month for a lease. This agreement was for a purchase, as I told them I did not want a lease! I went up to the dealership today and the sales manager stated, "it's not a lease, they just process it on a lease form." They stated they didn't understand why I didn't want to lease, because the salesperson Kris and the sales manager both do it, and 50% of buyers do it. I told them I was not in that 50%, I wanted to buy the car. The sale manager stated that if the lease was funded he couldn't rewrite the lease to a sale. I called VW finance and asked if that was correct and they stated, "No that's not correct, all the dealer has to do is rewrite the contact and submit it, but they could force them to do so." Yet another lie! The bottom line is they stood to make more profit off a lease than a sale. Do not trust these people. I spent 4 hours with them and having VW Finance, as well as VW Corporate America filing complaints against the dealership. More

Yesterday, I saw an advertisement for the Mazda CX-5 claiming there was a large discount, so I sent an email that day and the internet manager confirmed the price. The sale manager claimed the deal ended yesterday, but neither his email nor his advertisement mentioned an expiration date. In fact, the person who sent the email told me to come visit sometime in the future to check out the car. Very misleading! More

Took my 2017 Passat into the service department because it had a massive oil leak. It needed a rear main seal. I was notified by the service manager "nick" that they had tried to fix my car, but were una it had a massive oil leak. It needed a rear main seal. I was notified by the service manager "nick" that they had tried to fix my car, but were unable because the crankshaft was scored. He was very adamant that i needed a $10,000 dollar new engine because mine was "unfixable" and would not even entertain the idea that the technician had not performed the repair correctly. I only paid them so I could pick up my car and take it elsewhere. When i picked up my car, the transmission was slipping badly!! There was NO transmission issue when the car was dropped at Gorman McCracken. It was driven into the shop. The transmission had to be removed to attempt the engine repair. I ended up trailering my car to a shop in Dallas, who not only fixed my "unfixable" engine, but found almost no fluid in my transmission. This whole debacle ended up costing me the $1200 i paid Gorman McCracken to NOT fix my car, $200 to trailer my car to another shop, $1300 to actually fix the original problem, and $1500 to fix the transmission problem that magically appeared when i picked up my car from Gorman McCracken. I will never do business with these people again. Do yourself a favor and skip these folks. If they will do this to me, they will do this to you! More

Purchased a used vehicle online during COVID-19 quarantine. Spoke to salesman in depth about vehicle and their inspection. Two weeks later vehicle indicated a drive component needed service. Local dealership estimated $1k in repairs in addition to 3 recalls not completed on vehicle they sold me. Gorman McCraken salesman and finance manager completely ignored all communications. Finally after another 2 weeks they offered 1/5th of cost. I would highly recommend avoiding this dealer with extreme prejudice unless you like garbage. More

I spoke to Mike Lopez and he answered the questions that I had and we set up an appointment for me to look at and test drive a Mazda CX-5. He was incredibly patient with me as half way to the dealership I forgot the title of my trade in and had to delay the appointment for 2 hours. Everyone there was incredibly nice and helpful and not pushy. Mike got me the deal I wanted and was the nicest salesperson I have ever met. Financing went off without a hitch, met Terese in Service and I was in and out in 2.5 hours. What a pleasure and I LOVE MY NEW MAZDA! More
