Overall, I’m satisfied with the sales team. They’re salesmen, they’ll take advantage where they can and give a little here and there. That’s just the nature of the business. If you go in knowing what you want, they won’t try and fool around with any tricks. On top of that, the finance team is top notch. The gentlemen I dealt with were fair and honest and the finance gentleman especially did me a solid when it came time to look at warranty options. I’m country boy who can weld, turn a wrench and have been formally to troubleshoot and work on advanced electrical systems and electronics systems. I have the ability to repair and maintain my own vehicles and equipment However, when buying a brand new vehicle, I always like to get the extended warranty because, at least with Ford trucks, they can be a cumbersome for some DIY repairs. Especially cumbersome for bigger items like transmission and engine repairs. All that stated, I’ve issues with a prior model and the modest amount I spent on the extended warranty saved me a few thousand dollars overall on a transmission repair. Get the warranty. Ask them to help adjust rates if necessary so you can roll it into your payments. Just my advice. The reason for four stars is actually due to the service department. I took my new F250 here for initial oil service after the break in period. They did’t do a good job of explaining the DEF top-off service and I only received a 52% full DEF tank. They only fill 2.5 gallons worth. Not a big deal, DEF isn’t that expensive by itself but it just wasn’t explained well is all. So expectations weren’t met. Additionally, when they rotated the tires, the tech didn’t adjust the tire pressures accordingly. I keep close tabs on my pressures because I use this truck for hauling and towing. Per factory/Ford recommendations, the front tires should be 5 psi less than the back. When I received the truck post-service, the passenger side tires were a reading higher than the driver side. The tech either didn’t readjust pressures after rotating them or just filled them incorrectly and didn’t pay enough attention to detail. This may seem like I’m nitpicking or just trying to find something wrong but it actually cause the truck the pull left/driver side. Not hard to readjust myself but if I didn’t check this while pulling a trailer or load, it could cause a little drift into the lane next to me or even worse, into oncoming traffic. The little thongs count big sometimes. The extra weight of a load or trailer compounds the issue and causes a problem. The service advisors were TOP NOTCH and I can’t say enough good about those guys. Definitely would recommend bringing your Ford vehicle here for service and if I’m ever in need of another Ford vehicle, I’ll definitely bring this sales team my business. More

My company leased a Ford Explorer from Aaron Ford in March 2024. We like the vehicle so much that we want to do an early lease termination and but the SUV. On 7/16/25 we took the car into Aaron Ford where Pedro Alvarez processed the mileage and condition of the vehicle for the early lease termination. We were told that paperwork would arrive overnight so we could pay it off. When the paperwork did not arrive, I called Pedro on 7/18, 7/20, 7/21, 7/22, 7/23, and 7/24 and never received a callback or email. On 7/25 I called Ford Credit and told them what was happening; they said I had to go back to the dealership for the payoff and to escalate the matter to the finance manager. on 7/25 I left a message for the finance Manager Jeff Walsh, and again on 7/28 and on 7/29: once again there were no call backs or emails sent. I called Ford Credit again and they said to contact the commercial sales manager or the general manager, so I did both; on 7/29 I left a message for Hector Yorba and two messages for Executive General Manager Vishal Sharma. No calls or emails have been received. I have leased and purchased over 100 Ford trucks and sedans in my 40 years of business. All I want to do is payoff a lease. Ford Credit is no help, and Aaron Ford couldn't give a care in the world. This has put me off of Ford entirely. Our next truck purchases will be Chevrolet. More

We have had the absolute worst experience with Aaron Ford, and over 6 weeks later, have still had no response or resolution. We sold them our car and they STILL HAVE NOT PAID US. The general manager of both this location and the Escondido location has not responded to email, texts and phone calls. We have never encountered such incompetence from a business. The amount of errors they have made and their unresponsiveness is appalling. They initially spelt our name incorrectly, then they never processed the sale paperwork which caused us to have an issue with our credit company, and most recently, they mailed us a check written out to a completely different person and for the incorrect amount. When I called most recently about this, the person in the business center said this happened to another person just that same day. What is wrong with this place?! We reported them to the Better Business bureau to hope they will involved and writing this review in hopes they will return any of our communication. Do not by any means trust Aaron Ford. I can’t even imagine how crooked they must be in all the other aspects of vehicle sales and service. More
I recently made an appointment to look at a 2024 Maverick truck that Aaron Ford of Escondido advertised online. The truck was priced at $5,000 under normal retail, with only 2,300 miles. When I arrived an hour later for my appointment I was told that the salesman I spoke with was not available, so I was directed to another salesman. He told me that the truck that I wanted to look at could not be test driven or taken off the lot due to a recall on the backup camera. I asked to see the truck anyway, but was told that they could not show me the truck, They said that I could buy it but not take possession of it until the recall was fixed, which could take months or more. At this point the salesman offered to show me a Ford Lariat truck, which is considerably more expensive. I asked to speak to the sales manager, and told her that this looks like a classic “bait and switch” situation. I asked her why they would advertise a truck online that could not be driven off the lot. She blamed the salesman I originally spoke with, saying he was “new”. But she then admitted that the salesman had nothing to do with listing the truck online. So no truck, no apology, and a wasted 90-minute round trip. More

I am writing this review specifically for Mike Tinsley, the Service Manager at Aaron Ford Escondido. I have had trouble with other less attentive Service Managers here before. However, Mike was extremely h the Service Manager at Aaron Ford Escondido. I have had trouble with other less attentive Service Managers here before. However, Mike was extremely helpful and attentive to the utmost degree. He treated my car troubles like his own. Provided solutions to my truck trouble and worked with the third party extended warranty company to have my service fully covered by them. The team fixed and left my truck in great condition. Could not have asked for a better Service Manager! More
