GRAND PRIX SUBARU WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A V.I.P.!!! This is our family's second new Subaru purchased at Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville, NY. My brother, Paul, purchased his new 2013 Legacy sedan Premiu This is our family's second new Subaru purchased at Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville, NY. My brother, Paul, purchased his new 2013 Legacy sedan Premium 2.5i in March 2013 and I just bought a new 2017 Forester 2.5i Touring edition with Eyesight/Navigation/Starlink. Paul went with me to buy my new 2017 Forester. For Paul and me, the salesperson was Roy Wander. By far, Roy is the most knowledgeable salesperson there is in any Subaru dealership out there when it comes to Subarus. If I were ever on 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and needed to call my 'life-line' regarding a question about a Subaru, Roy would be the man! He answered all of our many questions, was extremely patient, and never pressured us to buy any trim/accessories that we didn't want. He spent plenty of time with us with regard to the test-drive so that I could really get the feel of a Forester (my previous Subaru was an 2002 Outback) and brought us twice to the lot to inspect, sit in, and start-up the EXACT car we would be buying. Go to Grand Prix Subaru and make Roy your Salesperson. We then met with our Business Manager, Ray Voesack. Ray has been with Grand Prix Subaru for 12 years so he is well versed in all things Subaru. (My brother, Paul, had very positive dealings with Ray in the past when he (Ray) worked in a different capacity at Grand Prix and insisted we see him as our Business Manager). Like Roy, Ray was also extremely knowledgeable about the Finance process (I qualified for Subaru's 0% financing for 48 months) as well as all of the different extended warranty options for service contracts and protection for the exterior body/interior of the car. There were also other options for protection of the windshield, alloy wheels as well as the tires themselves that Ray made us aware of. I purchased them because Ray was able to make them work for us, financially, and as he explained, they actually made good sense to have given that I want to keep this car for years! (I kept my 2002 Subaru Outback wagon for 15 years!) Ray dealt with us in a professional & honest manner; he NEVER tried to get us to purchase anything we didn't want, he gave us his complete attention & was extremely patient answering all of our questions, and actually made me feel safer and more secure by providing me with information to help me make wise decisions about my new 2017 Forester! Still the Best overall car buying experience Marie met me as I wondered through the service department to peak and see if the new Forresters had a significant difference to my 2015 outback, she s Marie met me as I wondered through the service department to peak and see if the new Forresters had a significant difference to my 2015 outback, she saw I was keen to see it and said hey you currently have an Outback only a driver will notice the difference, so meanwhile I gave it a test drive and Loved it! The whole time there was no pressure we talked about driving the Forrester and if I could pick up any significant diffrerences to my car other than the technology advancements etc. I have and Outback Limited Edition and still wanted the same perks that a Limited Edition would offer in a Forrester. By the time we returned I was in love and said to Marie if I can get a great trade in and make this work for me, I am in what color is available and can we work this out. Marie was on top of this right at this minute and she said you just know what you want and I said it to her - I feel an upgrade or change is needed for my family and I want to feel like I am in an SUV not just a car, the whole team at Grand Prix Subaru were Awesome and my little girl got to bang the Gong! We love our Subaru Team along with the Whole experience so far its been great! More

My experience working with Grand Prix Subaru was totally positive from the beginning when I was initially greeted by the two women at the front desk. It was terrific working with Roy Wander. He was extremely informative, helping explain different models and options for the Outback. In the end we happily chose the 2017 Outback 2.5i Limited, which best met our needs, concern for safety, fuel economy, style and price range. If you are looking for a great explanation, fair price, and overall terrific sales person please go to Mr. Wander. More

Too BUSY for CUSTOMER SERVICE! Walked into the dealership with a scheduled appointment with Jeanne who had no concern for our appointment, so I was passed to Marie who informed me s Walked into the dealership with a scheduled appointment with Jeanne who had no concern for our appointment, so I was passed to Marie who informed me she just walked in and was given my paperwork to deliver my car! I would not actually call it delivering a car. I did ask Jeanne if she could give me so information on how some of the many buttons worked in the car, and she said when she was done with her customer. I was then handed my keys my Marie and when I asked for some information on how the systems worked in the car, I was addressed with a huff and basically Marie had no time for that!!! When I approached Jeanne a second time an 1 hour and 20 minutes later, and asked if I could please get some information on the car. She said, "I am with a customer, but I can help you later"! The question is how much later???? I was already there 1 hour and 20 minutes. I got in my new car, started it and it had NO GAS!!! So off to the Gas station I went, and then I went to Competition Subaru in Smithtown with my New Subaru, and I was greeted so nicely by the girl at the desk, explained my horrible experience at Hicksville, and the salesman Norris who was so pleasant took the time to explain how all those many buttons worked in my car!!!! I would tell you if the Sales Department can not be nice nor provide Customer Service then why would spend your money there? Truly unprofessional! More

Joe made the deal as smooth as possible and was extremely understanding and helpful. To top it off, Ray Voesack was a pleasure to deal with. This sales team noticeably goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
