We have owned many cars in our 37 years of marriage. We’ve never had what we could consider a pleasant experience at a car dealership before. Quite the opposite. But, when we came to Great Lakes Hyu We’ve never had what we could consider a pleasant experience at a car dealership before. Quite the opposite. But, when we came to Great Lakes Hyundai on Billingsley, we had our first truly outstanding experience with Salesperson, Rachel Riggs. Rachel was a breath of fresh air, not pushy, not phony; quite a genuine personability. The evenness of Rachel’s demeanor, and the fact that she really knew her “stuff”when it came to answering our questions about the new car, was what gave us a feeling of calm and that we were dealing with an honest person, as well as confirming that we had come to the right place! So, we quickly took all of these positive signs into account, and moved forward with the purchase of our new Hyundai Tucson on our first visit. We love the new car. When you go to buy a new car, it REALLY does make a difference as to what kind of people you are working with at a dealership. This was my third Hyundai Sonata and my first from Great Lakes Hyundai (previously Dennis Hyundai). I hadn't planned on buying a new car, but Tyler Bryant, the sales consultant, impressed me. He understood Lakes Hyundai (previously Dennis Hyundai). I hadn't planned on buying a new car, but Tyler Bryant, the sales consultant, impressed me. He understood my priorities and highlighted the new safety features. The price negotiation felt fair. Tyler thoroughly demonstrated the car's features and remains available for questions. Great Lakes Hyundai has maintained the high standard of its predecessor, and I've been satisfied with past repairs. I highly recommend both Tyler Bryant and Great Lakes Hyundai of Dublin. More

I scheduled a 9:45 a. m. service appointment for am oil change. Since this dealership didn't offer free shuttle services, I had a friend pick me up. I dropped my car at 8 m. service appointment for am oil change. Since this dealership didn't offer free shuttle services, I had a friend pick me up. I dropped my car at 8 a.m. because that is when my friend could pick me up. I discussed with the person who took in my car that the car also needed a software update (I was previously told that the update can take up to 2 hours). I also started I would be back in the afternoon to pick up my car. Imagine my shock when I got there at 4pm and they hadn't touched my car. When I asked, I was told it was because I didn't give them a specific time. Unreal! How did they think they were going to get my car done for an "afternoon" pickup if at 4pm they hadn't touched it? No apologies. No offer of compensation. The service person told me he could have them start right away and be done on 20-30 minutes. I guess he forgot about the update. Shocking that they can get my oil changed in 20-30 minutes but couldn't get it done in the 8 hours they had my car. I won't go there again. This is the 2nd Great Lakes Hyundai dealership I've been to since I got my vehicle and both have been less than stellar. It's sad because the Great Lakes Kia dealership was great with my previous car. More
