Do not offer optional packages as mandatory packages. This lowers the quality of the brand. Supposedly "every" car HAD to have paint protection installed. That's utterly ridiculous. I really wish I spoke to someone worth speaking to. Andy, the sales manager, was a complete ass. He offered to order, which is impossible(you can only preference with Hyundai) a White Veloster turbo for me that would not have paint protection installed. The car had not even arrived yet, and paint protection would be installed when it arrived. Even though I had a deposit on this car, the optional paint protection was mandatory because "that's how it's going to be done". He went on to tell me this was basically just a warranty and the paint protection doesn't do much after I told him polishing and claybar would remove this. I'm guessing this dealership would view this substandard practice as acceptable. I expect no resolution. I have moved on. I bought another car already. Thanks, Dave

We are very disappointed by this customer's post, since we went out of our way to plead his case to Hyundai to get him a reman engine before Hyundai would normally have authorized it. What is truly is "surreal" is this customer's inability to recall the abusive and intimidating treatment he engages in and his creative recollection of the events that actually occured. He threatened his way to a brand new engine and Hyundai's reward for trying to make him happy was his informing Hyundai corporate, once he had his new engine, that he would NEVER buy a Hyundai again. THAT is "incomprehensible".

Pat thanks for the reply. I understand you are trying to provide something like this for someone that wants it. I can't believe everyone wants it, we surely weren't paying $1400 for that. I also understand you put the high price tag on it so that when the deal is done and someone pays $300-$500 for it that it seems like a good deal. You lost our business due to not wanting to deal on the car and based on some of the other comments, others feel the same way.
