I had a tire with a nail in it. I had purchased the tires at the dealer and they were still under warranty. The service manager called me at work, told me the nail was in the sidewall (not covered by the warrenty) and that my tires were dangerously warn and needed to be replaced. I told him I hoped the warrenty was still good and that I expected the prorated adjustment to be good because the tires were rated at 60,000 miles and had less than 25,000 miles on them. He asked if I had purchased the tires at the dealership. When I said yes, he mumbled something and hung up. They repaired the tire at no cost but I will never go back to that dealership because of a complete lack of trust. I wrote the manager of the dealership but never got a response. I can only assume the service manager' s behavior is sanctioned by the dealership. More
WORST DEALERSHIP in Springfield! Arrogant liars - all of them. Quality of repair that was PROMISED in buying the car was at best 3rd rate and they thought it was acceptable. I spoke to Ray about getting my car into service for 10K and Danielle was able to get my car in for service the same day. I was very pleased with the service department and accommodating me in a short peri and Danielle was able to get my car in for service the same day. I was very pleased with the service department and accommodating me in a short period of time. They got my car done in a timely manner and did not try and push any other products on me while my car was there, which was much appreciated. My car wash washed and clean when the service was done. Danielle was professional all the time. I will definitely bring my car back for service. Thanks Green VW. More
Have been getting my service here for 15 plus years and know the staff by name. In all, a very good experience. There have been times they fixed a problem on the spot and did it for no charge (a stuck fo know the staff by name. In all, a very good experience. Otherwise, price is not the lowest, but it is genuine Toyota certified service technicians work, which I prefer. Roy, at the front counter, has always gone out of his way to explain the work and charges and always with a smile. Tom, in back, has come out and explained what he was recommending to do in order to fix the problem, and at times has shown me the problem on the vehicle, so I better understood the issue. Ray, the service manager, seems to always be asking if everything is done right and if I need a ride while my vehicle is being repaired. More
I give this dealership an EXCELLENT rating, as the staff there was very friendly and professional in helping me purchase a new vehichle. I got the car I wanted at the price range that I wanted! Extremely high pressure, all tactics were used. Tried to tell me my credit was much, much higher than I knew it was. Old scam to tell me later "they mixed my credit report with someone else, so now I have t tell me my credit was much, much higher than I knew it was. Wouldn't allow my wife and I alone time to talk about it. Pressured us into leaving a deposit to hold the car. ??? They had at least 20 models of the same vehicle, why would I do that? They played the "I'll probably get fired for doing this, but here's what I'm going to do for you because I like you" routine. Whatever. When we had enough, we simply walked out. The salesman chased us down to our car, trying desperately to get us to come back in. Sorry, went to Honda of IL. Purchased a new CRV. Best experience I had. Honda quality is comparable to Toyota. More

Luckily, my problem occurred at the sales room floor, which perhaps kept me from repeating the experiences others experienced. The salesperson was overtly aggressive and belittled myself and my mother. which perhaps kept me from repeating the experiences others experienced. Management response was reasonable, but the sales experience was so offensive it has been impossible for me to have any further relationship with the dealer. More
The sales dept. is marginal at best. And once you get past that department and need service after the sale, it is a horrible experience. To give you an idea of what I mean, I had my new car for only about three days out of the first three weeks of ownership. There were no mechanical problems, but we ordered add-on accessories, which Green either failed to install properly or put on someone else's car everytime a new part came in. Since then, I have been repeatedly overcharged, ignored, and suffered absurdly long waits even for a simple oil change. Don't expect your salesman to help you either. Once their salespeople make commission on you, that's where it ends for them. The newly aquired Green Nissan is no better. More pushy saleman and substandard service. I took some Nissan recall work there, it was a nightmare. More
I purchased a used Toyota from them. After I left the lot, it all went downhill. The salesman "mistakenly" left off a sales tax charge, billing us for over $400. Found out later this was a scam. I contacted the stated attorney office, nothing they could do because we signed an agreement that if a mistake is made and caught later, we are liable. Tried to talk to the general manager, he could care less. Tried to talk to the owner, was never in. Left messages, not even a reply. I traded that vehicle on another. I will never again do any business with franchise that has "Green" in the name. More
