I brought my vehicle in for recalls and warranty repair and the experience was unacceptable. The dealership held my vehicle for five days with almost no communication. On day four there was still no update so we called and said we would be picking it up the next day. On day five AFTER I arrived at the dealership, they attempted to charge us diagnostic fee even though the vehicle is still under warranty. The dealership admitted they performed the diagnostic on day two and never notified us. We asked for the repair to be completed that day. Late that afternoon, we received a call stating that while attempting the warranty repair, the dealership had damaged my vehicle and effectively bricked the computer, making the vehicle completely undrivable. I was then informed that I would be responsible for the cost of that damage, even though the damage was caused directly by the dealership during a warranty repair. I escalated this to corporate CJDR, and was told that corporate also considered this my responsibility even though it was caused by their own authorized dealership. This situation has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability at both the dealership and corporate level. I had a reasonable expectation that warranty repairs would be handled professionally and that any damage caused by the dealer in the process of warranty service would not be pushed onto me as an out-of-pocket expense. That was not the case here. I cannot recommend this service department or brand based on this experience. More
My first sour note was with my salesman in August. I wouldn't refer anyone to him. He does not care about his customers after the sale. So, he is not likely to get repeat buyers. My second sour note I wouldn't refer anyone to him. He does not care about his customers after the sale. So, he is not likely to get repeat buyers. My second sour note is that I bought a 2025 RAM 1500 12000 miles, but it came with broken and missing parts, disfunctional infotainment center, and a lot of lies. Still, the onus is on me for buying the truck. My third sour note is the unbelievably long time that it takes for diagnostics and repairs in the service center. And my fourth sour note is the restrictive military veteran discount. Finally, my fifth sour note are the very high prices on new and preowned vehicles. More
