Slow questionable Warranty Program A expensive (all inclusive) Platinum extended warranty program was sold to me when the car was purchased. The water pump failed and I took the car A expensive (all inclusive) Platinum extended warranty program was sold to me when the car was purchased. The water pump failed and I took the car in for repairs on a Thursday. Car was only returned to me on the following Tuesday (six days). The delay allegedly was due to the fact that the warranty company (very strongly supported by Gunther and finance individual who pushed hard for the sale of the warranty package) apparently does not trust Gunther, and have to send an agent out (three day process) to verify the claim. So really, what should have been a one to two day job, ended up being six. A major inconvenience. The replacement was done apparently correctly so I do not have an issue with the actual work. More
