I, against my better judgement, bought a service contract with Portfolio. I was told by the F&I guy hat if I brought it back to Buena Park, My deductible would be waived, but I was welcome to pay the deductible and go anywhere else of my choosing. Which is now my current problem. My vehicle is currently at Cerritos Nissan and I need to use said contract. My claim was denied because there is an exclusion stating that I HAVE to take my car to Buena Park since it is within 20 miles. They explained that if I have Buena Park call and release authorization, that they can proceed with my claim. So, I called your service dept at 1:30pm. I left a message with a female who said that the manager, Alan, would call me back. at 4:45pm, I called again and left a message with a service advisor, who again said he would tell Alan. at 4:55, Alan spent 4 minutes on the phone with me and said that it was an F&I issue and he would have them call me. at 5:45pm, I called to speak to F&I. I was transferred to a mailbox that was full and hung up on, twice. the 3rd time I called, the receptionist said she would personally walk a message to F&I and they would call me back. @7:40 pm, I called and was on hold for 5 minutes before I hung up and dialed the number for sales. at 7:50pm, I finally spoke to Sunny who said he would personally have the F&I guy call me in front of him. While he did have him call me at 7:55pm, he failed to explain the situation. So, I repeated my story, again. He said there was nothing he could do and I needed to speak to Alan in Service. I am absolutely flabbergasted that I am being held hostage when I paid for a service contract. After being treated this way, why would I want to take my vehicle to your shop or buy another vehicle at this location. I NEED ANYONE who cares about customer service to get this handled for me. More
Terrible customer service. Unable to speak to the sales manager or get his email. All the employees yelling and accusing you. They sold my daughter, her first car-2022 Sentra, a broken pre certified car and tried to blame her. The tie rods were bent and there's rust underneath the car. We took it back 2 weeks after we bought it when we found out and they were very rude accusing us of doing that. My daughter was lucky she didn't get into an accident. They insisted that we needed to pay for the damages since it was our fault. It took about 3 weeks to get that car back. Now my daughter doesn't want to drive it. She doesn't feel secure in it. I wish I would have read the reviews before going there. So disappointing. More
Terrible customer service. You can't get in contact with your service advisor about your vehicle and they don't call you if there's a problem. SCAM! !! Lease was maturing and we were buying it out. Dealership was trying to charge a “fee” of $2,500 which was not in our contract. Whole team was confr !! I moved to San Diego a couple months ago and I needed my oil change prior to a road trip to Las Vegas. Isaac was amazing at helping me make a last minute appointment. I wish I can give zero stars. My vehicle was supposed to be done third. I called Saturday to see it it was done at 930 am. They said yes I was coming from corona and when I got there. Was able to get a good deal on my second lease on a Nissan Leaf (last one was great but expensive). Everything went well until the computer system crashed. I was still able to drive the car home that Nissan Leaf (last one was great but expensive). Everything went well until the computer system crashed. I was still able to drive the car home that day but it was then 2 months of follow up texts and calls to make sure I got all of my paperwork returned and to set up my lease payment. I felt that after I signed the lease agreement, I was no longer a priority. I overpaid during my first lease but the process afterwards, including getting all of the rebates and HOV decals went smoothly. This time around, the opposite happened. Nissan has to prepare contingency plans for when their systems crash and train their dealerships to make sure to tie up all loose ends when it comes to sales made during those crashes. I've never done so much work trying to pay for something in my life! More
