The people at Haddad Kia were so fast with my car when I had a recall on it. The staff was very nice and professional. 2 new guys there- so nice- both great personalities which makes for great service. Had a not so positive experience here in the past, was worried about coming back to get headlight fixed and these guys on Sa makes for great service. We have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealership. The salesmen we have encountered were amazing. We give them 5 stars! But dealing with the service department on the last vehicle purchased for our daught salesmen we have encountered were amazing. We give them 5 stars! But dealing with the service department on the last vehicle purchased for our daughter, a used 2017 Sorento, was a nightmare!! We know that the factory warranty is almost up... we took it in to the service department yesterday 1-20-2020 because the heater wasn't heating up very well. It was taking quite awhile to get up to operating temperature. We believe that the thermostat is stuck open. An appointment had been set up to look at it. We paid to have a tow truck take it the 31 miles from our residence to Haddad Kia. Upon arrival the tow truck driver informed the service department writer not to start the vehicle until they were ready to work on it, because they told our daughter they wanted to see how long it took to heat up. The tow truck driver called and said that the service writer jumped in the vehicle and started cranking and cranking the vehicle, he stated that he thought she was never going to stop. They called our daughter and told her that we had a bad battery and that it was going to cost over $300 to replace it, then they called her a second time and told her that she needed to have the transmission serviced another $300. + First of all it didn't go in for a battery or a service on the transmission. Second of all we paid to have it towed back home. They never looked at the original reason why we took it over there. They were trying to get almost $1000. from her. She is a single mom of 3 and doesn't even get $2000 per month income. After the tow truck returned to our home with the Sorento there is NOT 1 THING WRONG WITH THE BATTERY. It started right up when we got it back home and it has been starting up with no issues today. We having been telling mom about how much we love our Kia's and she was thinking about buying one when she was ready to buy a new car in the coming months. But because of the treatment our family has received this week we are re-thinking telling ANYONE to go with KIA!! If this site didn't call for at list one star there wouldn't be a star rating the service department would get a flat zero rating!! More
