HOWEVER, my experience with Charles Barker and my salesman, Steve Slaven, was incredible. This was my first time buying a car, and from start to finish (stopping in to look at pricing, Steve’s follow up via call/emails, actually purchasing), I genuinely looked forward to going into the dealership. I didn’t feel that I was harassed or contacted too many times prior to buying, and although I’m not typically one to call a salesman back to check in and figure out the next time to come in, I felt comfortable to do that with Steve. He’s very professional, though personable and relatable. I did not feel that he was just trying to sell another car or take advantage of me AT ALL, but he made a connection and helped me feel comfortable with my decision to buy! I did do some research in pricing/budget prior to buying. When I went in to Charles Barker Toyota with the intention to buy, he and his team were able to work with my budget and what I could afford. Even the finance manager, Ben, was very professional, personable, and explained everything effectively. He answered all of my questions as a first time car buyer and talked to me as a person, not just a customer. I felt valued and considered throughout my finance experience, as well. Overall, I was very pleased with my entire experience and was so glad I had the pleasure to work with the employees that I did! 10/10 experience, for sure! I would 100% recommend everyone that is in the market for a Toyota, head to Charles Barker and definitely ask to work with Steve and Ben! More
