My car was in the shop for 2 months+ with absolutely no communication & even being put on hold for 2 hours, 3 or more times. When I hung up & called back the first 2 times i was put on hold for 2 hours, t communication & even being put on hold for 2 hours, 3 or more times. When I hung up & called back the first 2 times i was put on hold for 2 hours, they heard my voice & put me on hold again. Absolute disaster my service advisor was Nayeli who seemed to care the most out of everyone but unfortunately it was far from enough communication & care. More
It’s not just this dealership. Genesis service is lacking. Pitching Genesis as a luxury car but not being able to give luxury service. I had to wait 3 weeks for an oil change. The concierge service doesn’t exist anymore but that was a selling point. Key remote didn’t work and they said it was just the battery but they didn’t replace it. It’s a brand new car. I would think you could replace the battery. Solid car but you can’t compare to the other luxury brands when your service is lacking. More

Through the Genesis connected service we worked with Hanlees' Hyundai service department to order the tires while waiting for a tow. The car was towed to the dealer on a Wednesday, The tires came in on Hanlees' Hyundai service department to order the tires while waiting for a tow. The car was towed to the dealer on a Wednesday, The tires came in on Thursday as promised and they were installed and balanced by mid day Friday all as promised and committed by the service department. The communication was courteous and efficient and the pick up and payment process went smoothly. I was very happy with the whole process. My only issue is not due to Hanlees' Hyundai it is due to the Genesis policy of requiring that scheduled service only be performed at dealers authorized to sell the GV60. I live in Point Richmond and had to go all the way to San Rafael's Hanley Hyundai/Genesis dealer to purchase the car. they did a fine job, however it would not be convenient to go that far for scheduled service. I would request that Hanlees Hilltop Hyundai be allowed to provide all service requirements for my new GV60. More
