My internet buying experience ended on a good note thanks to the Harbor Chevrolet team, and in particular Dallas Maddela. Thinking I had secured a deal online with a dealership near my home, I went down to the Harbor Chevrolet team, and in particular Dallas Maddela. Thinking I had secured a deal online with a dealership near my home, I went down to sign and take possession of a new 2013 Silverado LT, but during my inspection, realized a key option was missing. It turns out the internet manager did not check to see if the truck he had matched the truck we agreed on, or that in order to make a sale, tried to pull a fast one by telling me had what I was looking for, all the while knowing he didn't. I suspect the latter. I also believe he was counting on me to be so tired of the car buying process that I would accept a similar match. After all, I had already gone through the trouble of negotiations and was now on his lot. He was almost right. Thankfully my senses returned and I ended up walking out. Harbor Chevrolet and Dallas Maddela were the opposite. Dallas was super responsive during the negotiation process, both through emails and phone calls. The time from first contact until offer acceptance took just three hours, and that included time spent price shopping with other dealerships. At the dealership, Dallas was professional and always maintained a calm demeanor despite facing a cautious client. And even when the signing was over and done with, Dallas took the time to explain the different car features, set up On Star, and pair my cell phone to Bluetooth. Dallas Madella and Harbor Chevrolet deserve a 5 start rating for their great service and I recommend them to anyone considering buying a car over the internet. More
