Our experience was good...we searched for the car characteristics online and results showed it available at the dealership. I called and spoke to Salvador who informed me that truck was not on the l characteristics online and results showed it available at the dealership. I called and spoke to Salvador who informed me that truck was not on the lot as it was pending pre-inspection. That was my only dealing with Salvador. We made an appt to see it the next day, they called my husband earlier in the day to confirm the truck was ready and on the lot. Communication was excellent. We arrived on site, test drove the truck, talked about financing and we drove away with a brand new 2021 Tahoe. Process took about 3-4 hrs. Dealership staff was friendly and open to disclose I would be paying a 2k increase they put on the truck due to limited quantities. Paper work was done swiftly and they were not pushy at all. The only disheartening thing came when I was driving in the freeway a metal plate from underneath the car was loose and I stopped once I heard the clunking of the metal and the smell. I called immediately that night and left a message...no one called me the following morning until I reached out to them. I'm taken back why this was not caught at preinspection. When I talked to the sales person the next day, she mentioned they could look to order the part but that the service manager asked if I might of hit something since the plate and alignment were too much coincidence!?? I could not believe my ears. I was appalled at that point. I took it to the dealer near me and they took care of getting the part ordered. They also did alignment without putting blame on me. The sales person had mentioned they did not know that kind of treatment I would get if I took it to another dealership. I'm very fortunate in that my local dealership took good care of me...that should have been the least of my worries having purchased an almost 100k truck!!! Uneeded stress. I'm looking forward to see how they manage the pending running boards that were not installed on my truck when I bought it. I understand they are on backorder but the communication needs to be effective and I would expect periodic updates from them since this is a safety issue. A follow through. Other than that- a week into my new truck! I'm loving it! More
