The previous oil change took over 3hrs and I mentioned that when making this appointment and it did not matter; also, when I mentioned this while making the appointment, all I received was a “yeah, we’re slammed in the morning” and was advised to make a late morning/afternoon appt- I did that and it only shaved off an hour. I just don’t understand how an oil change can take that long. I actually put off getting my oil changed just because of how long it takes and the inconvenience of trying to block out 2-3hrs of a day while both my husband and I work and have 2 small children at home. Great new vehicle buying experience, very quick! Friday afternoon, March 8th 2019, I stopped at Hawk Chevrolet to view the Chevy Colorado. I parked my vehicle and immediately walked to the area Friday afternoon, March 8th 2019, I stopped at Hawk Chevrolet to view the Chevy Colorado. I parked my vehicle and immediately walked to the area where the Chevy Colorado inventory were parked. After viewing the vehicles on the lot I proceeded to walk towards the showroom and was greeted by my salesman, Tom Saieg. He asked if I needed any assistance and I stated I wanted to purchase a new Chevy Colorado. We took a test drive and then started to work out a deal. Wile waiting for the finance department Tom went over the warranties and explained the options available. Unlike the normal hours and hours of time spent at the dealership this was a relatively short transaction time. My entire visit was very short and concise. The staff was very accommodating. Joe made sure I understood all the features of the new vehicle and was also making sure the other staff members were ready to complete their part of the process. Amy Birmingham was very knowledgeable regarding the "my chevy rewards program", Sirius XM and the On-Star system; and they were all explained and registered very quickly. The trip to the finance office was also quick and simple, Ed Wambaja explained the warranty options/prices and all the paperwork was completed very quickly. Tom has followed up both via phone call and email to ensure there were no issues with my new vehicle. Whether you are looking for a new or used vehicle I would highly recommend Hawk Chevy of Joliet. I have purchased at least 17 new vehicles and this has been the most efficient and quickest vehicle purchase I have ever made. More

More Repairs! I returned for additional service as my vehicle has had ongoing issues. Although I have had 2 major repairs in the past year on a 2013 vehicle, the f I returned for additional service as my vehicle has had ongoing issues. Although I have had 2 major repairs in the past year on a 2013 vehicle, the folks in the service department been excellent with explaining the issue(s) it is never fun to have car repairs that are not cause by your own doing, but the customer service I received from Allison Dickenson, Sean Drane and the service team made a bad situation bearable. More
